Our stay at the Bombua Beach House was incredible—so much so that we extended it! Our bungalow was designed to give maximum privacy, with a kitchen and a private pool outside. They also have a great restaurant with delicious meals and cocktails. We really enjoyed talking to Ash and Stacey, who can arrange any trip for you or give you the right contacts. The hotel’s location is great—it’s close to town and not too far from the attractions in the north. We also went snorkeling right in front of the restaurant, and the reef was really nice.

Great set up; our bungalow was well-designed, comfortable, had all the conveniences needed, including a gnerously sized deck. Liked having a swimming pool to cool off, a cabana for lounging around in, SUPs and a beach with reef within paddling distance, and a freshwater creek next door. The location is perfect – close enough to Luganville to pick up supplies, but nice and close to Matevulu, Riri and other famous east coast Santo attractions. Owners were very helpful and attentive, and the breakfast on the first morning was a nice touch.

We absolutely loved staying at the treehouse. Angelique is an exceptional host and a highlight was spending the day with her family preparing a traditional meal cooked in the firepit. The beach is stunning, just like a postcard photo and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Angelique prepared lovely meals everyday and was great to chat to. The treehouse was really special and met our needs. The whole stay was relaxing, a really nice slow pace with swimming, reading, some games and more swimming.

The staff went out of their way to look after you. Kathy was great even doing our laundry. Whilst the property is a little out of town very easy to get a bus or taxi. Locally operated and great value for money.

Picture perfect location, the room was beautifully presented, clean and well equipped, and the caretakers were very friendly and helpful. Remember to shop in Luganville before you arrive - the room is equipped with a bar fridge with little freezer section at the top, and there is a restaurant a short stroll up the road (approx 500m) if the tide is low you can walk along the beach. Highly recommend staying here, everything was perfect!!

Barrier Beach Resort offers accommodation in Saraotou, 20 minutes' drive from Santo Pekoa International Airport. This beachfront property features an on-site restaurant. We stayed here for ten days over the xmas break. Barrier Beach Resort is set on a sheltered bay, in a beautiful location. We had the most relaxing stay, everything about this resort is perfect. The owners are friendly and accomodating, the staff really are exceptional and go the extra mile. After trying a few lunches elsewhere we thought the food at Barrier was the best on the island. There’s a wide selection of choices from the menu and the wine list is great too. There’s kayaks and snorkel gear to use free of charge. Santo itself is well worth the extra effort to visit, it’s a stunning island and the locals and their culture are amazing. You’ll be rewarded with something special as a holiday destination.

When my partner and I arrived at the property for our stay, we were instantly greeted with smiles. Angelic the Owner was very warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. She looked after us, cooked us amazing food, and helped us create unforgettable moments.

Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.
