Mhamid Sahara Camp - Mhamid El Ghizlane se găsește în M'Hamid și oferă o grădină, o terasă și un bar. From the moment we met Larbi there was an instant connection. His welcoming warmth made us feel at home. We picked him up and drove out to his camp not knowing what to expect. We were remote, away from the tours, with waves of golden sand at our feet. After tea, Beth and I walked the dunes to watch a lovely sunset. After a delicious tagine, we were surprised with a full moon rising and a sky of stars. The quiet was deafening, then broken with Berber rhythms from Larbi, his brother Nayim and friend Bryham. We danced by the fire and then shared life stories. We now have a new desert family.

We saw camels in the morning, breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. We can only recommend it.

We were picked up as agreed and the drive to the camp was impressive. The bumpy ride through the impressive landscape with the smell of wild rocket. And then the music from the radio, it still echoes ... :) The camp is located between the dunes. The food was tasty and plentiful, and the hospitality was warm. our hosts Mohamed and Ali told us impressive and exciting stories about life on the edge of the desert in the past and today. Next time we will stay longer than two nights…

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

Wonderful camping site, tents had shower and toilet, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast, amazing bonfire and local music. The staff was very well organised, we took a Jeep ride to the camp and traveled back on camels, both were truly amazing, allows you to enjoy unique nature, very beautiful, highly recommended.

This was a perfect place to get a feel of the beauty of the Saharan desert. The camp is fantastically situated between dunes. M'Bark and his team will take excellent care of you. This is not a fancy place, but it provides so much warmth, great food, even WIFI and a place to charge your devices. The value for money is spectacular. We stayed for two nights (and you really should not do less), but would have stayed longer had out travel plans permitted.

Erg Chigaga Regency Camp se află în El Gouera și are vedere la oraș, o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă, pârtie de schi și facilități de grătar. 10/10 doesn’t describe how amazing this stay was! A true desert immersion. We had a transfer from Mahamid. Our driver and also our guide spoke great English and provided an amazing experience, showing us the Nomad villages on the way. The food (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast) was one of the best we had during our 10 days in Morocco. The camp definitely exceeded our expectations, was right next to the big dunes, was super comfortable and clean, with our tent having a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We took a camel ride to the big sand dunes and sand boarded down them. Cannot recommend enough! An absolute must when you’re in Morocco!
