We only stayed one night on route to Heathrow but we would have loved to stay longer. The attention to detail, comfort and quality of the furnishings and fittings were excellent. The cabin was very quaint with fabulous views. Good well equipped kitchen even though we did not use it. A pub in walking distance for meals if needed. Good communication from the owners. The complimentary Prosecco and chocolates was a lovely touch.

We booked lower lodge gatehouse for birthday treat with family and friends. It was absolutely amazing couple of nights the place it's fantastic. It felt like living in the little castle for few days. We loved it so much ❤️ including kids. Beautiful peaceful location, Helen was really kind and helpful when approached by email. We recommend this place to everyone
