Everything, it’s such an amazing paradise. The staff were very welcoming and warm. The food was delicious. They organized the game drivers and were so enthusiastic about searching for the big 5, organized the mokoros as well as the helicopter rides to the Okavonga Delta.

Nature is just breathtaking… hundreds of different birds species, hippos, otters. Activities where really pleasing and our guide thomas was very profesional and excellent guide. The rooms are well furnished and the bathroom was fine. It has a bar/restaurant were we ate several times and food was always plentiful and good. It's well organized and the staff is the most friendly and helpful at all times. Whenever we had a question or request they would find a solution and help immediately. We got extra service from the shuttle as it was rather far from the shops, it was given to us for free.

Featuring a garden and a year-round outdoor pool, Thamalakane River Lodge offers accommodation in Maun. Free private parking is available on site. This was the 5th hotel we stayed in due our 3 week holiday and by far the best. The setting of the hotel is awesome and very well maintanined. The food and service was second to none, the staff were all very good. Every night there was different people arriving at the hotel which kept the evenings fresh with others holiday stories. Thanks to everyone that works in the Thamalakane River Lodge.

And then, spotting the Pels Fishing Owl again just put the Cherry of the top
