The room was incredibly spacious and spotless, offering both comfort and peace. We shared delicious breakfasts and dinners together — every meal was full of flavor. Truly some of the best food we've had on our trip. The surrounding environment is absolutely breathtaking — calm, natural, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. It's the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem. Xiao Mei went above and beyond in every way — supporting us with everything we needed, always with a smile. She's more than just a host; she's the heart of this amazing place. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to feel connected, relaxed, and well taken care of.

Το Zhangjiajie Southgate Flower Garden Lodge at the Park Entrance είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στο βουνό που βρίσκεται σε Zhangjiajie. the room was lovely with a view and air conditioned and clean. the people running the hotel were very helpful to us as foreigners. they drove us to the Southgate entrance of Zhangjiajie national park which a 4 min drive and cooked us dinner for 40 yuan which was very helpful as the area is more quiet. this might be an option for you if they are available that night. there is also a restaurant across the road which was great! the hotel also offers a basic breakfast for free. Theres a busier area with fruit market stalls and more restaurants about a 20 min walk. the lady working there was very patient with us and helped us book all of our national park and day trip tickets (i would suggest doing this before you come to avoid missing out in busy seasons).

We spent a night in 张家界东篱山居民宿. I chose the place partly because it was close to the Zhangjiajie airport but mainly because of its view. We arrived late (almost midnight), the host picked us up from the airport (for free), we didn’t see much outside the house in the darkness, but were taken by the artistic decoration of the rooms. Next day, we were lucky to wake to a clear morning and greeted by a stunning view of the Tianmen Mountains (天门山) and Seven Stars Mountains （七星山）. The Tianme Cave (天门洞) is clearly visible from the house. The view is even better than I expected from the Booking.com’s reviews. Besides its hilltop location with excellent views all around and including a golf course right next door, the house also has a manicured garden including a lotus pond, clearly the owner has put in a lot of effort landscaping and maintaining the property. I only wished that we had more time to stay here and just enjoy its view and surroundings.
