The host was really friendly, considered our comfort for example by serving us dinner to our room. The dome we stayed in was comfortable. The area is quiet so it was nice to hear the sounds of nature arround you. We felt peace and was able to disconecr from our busy last days in Costa Rica.

The cottage was a real suprise! Everything worked well, was very clean, a lot od space, super shower, everything in the kitchen for cooking, huge refrigirator. You sleep in the jungle, we saw some animals. The owner from Netherland was super nice.

Forewarning: this is a farm offering authentic rustic experience, make sure this is what you are looking for. Spacious, clean house (rustic buildout), authentic local experience and connection with nature through lush vegetation, sightings and sounds from wildlife, bright stars in the sky, etc. Hosts working to enable all this and also serving tasty typical food (e. g. traditional soup from veal, increible). We appreciated the mosquito nets. A chance to socialize and learn about the lives of other travellers and of the hosts and other local people helping us with our travel. We found the location very strategic-allowing us to explore the nearby sights (Corcovado, Isla del Caño) and also continue our onward journey to Panama.

El Pulpo Safari Lodge se encuentra en Ojochal y ofrece wifi gratis, piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. Playa Tortuga está a 2,4 km del alojamiento, y Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary está a 29 km. 10/10 for el pulpo. Lovely couple who made us coffee when the electricity pole fell down and we were unable to use the communal facilities. It was quiet when we were there. Lots of restaurants nearby. Would recommend car access. Very hot shower, it was excellent. Tents were well kept, clean and equipped with a fan.
