This is a perfect hideout if you like rural living, animals and starry skies. The hosts welcome you with open arms and the whole family takes time out of their day to add that much to your stay. The hosts have multiple animals (from very friendly and playful dogs to farm animals) and we got a chance to pet them all. The location is secluded in the middle of the nature, which suited us very well. There is a kitchenette to save you from having to go out to eat. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries beyond what you'd expect.

Beds and all rooms clean and comfortable. 5 mins to Mullingar town for restaurants yet still very quiet. Excellent opportunity to stretch your legs across the road along the tow path / greenway.

The host was very friendly and provided a few extra touches that made our stay exceptionally nice. We loved being out in the country, but close enough to nice restaurants.

The lodge has been refurbished to an amazing standard, absolutely beautiful. The bed was nicer than any hotel bed! The animals are adorable. Great facilities. Perfect for a relaxing break. 😊

Acess ,central to visit great stop over for Connemara, Niamh is just a super person and loved the dogs and cat .place really clean and hospitality brilliant.
