高野山 こころの寺子屋リトリートハウス -Koyasan Retreat House IKKOSHO อยู่ในโคยะซัน ห่างจาก Kishi Station 37 กม. และห่างจาก Matsushita Park 44 กม. I really liked this quiet place to stay. A traditional and cozy house. My hosts were kind, patient, and supportive. They offered guidance and encouragement whenever I asked.

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในเขต Nara Park ของนารา โดยอยู่ห่างจากสถานีนารา 3.3 กม. และห่างจาก Iwafune Shrine 20 กม. Waking up in Deer Park was really special, especially considering that before 9am and after 4pm you pretty much had the park to yourself.

Koguchi Village by WhyKumano มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในชิงงู ห่างจาก Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum 23 กม. The facility is charming! It is a wooden cottage in the middle of mountains with beautiful view. There is a river just next by, so if you get there early, you can refresh yourself there. The rooms are spacious and there is a place you can hang your wet clothes. There is also a common space where you can hang out with other guests. I also used it when my room-mate wanted to sleep and I was still working on PC. Very useful and convenient. There's very well working Wi-Fi, as well. The dinner was delicious. We had seasonal steamed vegetable with rice. They have vegetarian (tofu) and non-vegetarian (meat dumplings) version. For breakfast there were toasts with cheese, jams, peanut butter, yogurt, fruit etc. You can also prepare a meal for your next journey. The beds are comfortable and you have great view from windows. The kitchen is very well equipped and you can use it if you need. You can make yourself coffee anytime, which I very appreciated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. She could speak Japanese, English and Spanish, which was quite fun because all the guests there could also speak Spanish for some reason. :-D

至の宿-京都南 Traditional Machiya Guesthouse เป็นที่พักซึ่งอยู่ในบริเวณใจกลางเกียวโต ห่างจาก TKP Garden City Kyoto เพียง 1.2 กม. และห่างจากวัดซันจูซันเก็นโด เพียง 1.5 กม. Close to the Kyoto station. Quiet neighbourhood. Lovely stand alone house with little garden and hot bath.

I loved how everything was super clean and the house was super cozy. There were heat pumps in both bedrooms so it was very comfortable at night. Also, the proximity to Toji Temple as a nice surprise.

The house is very clean and spacious.the view is amazing.the staff is so very helpful and even provide laundry service.my family had an episode of getting drenched from head to toe from getting caught in heavy rain but they helped us do the laundry and we used the furnace to dry our drenched shoes and coats.the skylight is also a highlight as we slept under the moonlight.highly recommended.there's not enough stars to give for their exceptional hospitality.the facilities are complete with all kitchen equipments,towels, cleaning products,they will also provide food if you need.

Taraichitei เป็นที่พักซึ่งมีสวน โดยตั้งอยู่ใน Takashima ห่างจากศาลเจ้าเคย์ฮิ 28 กม. ห่างจาก Omimaiko Beach 34 กม. และห่างจากสถานีโอบามะ 40 กม. It is an old style house, so as long as you aren't expecting Western/modern comforts, it's fantastic! My daughter called it the Totoro house. You will sleep on Japanese futons that you lay out on the tatami mats - if you've never slept on a futon it might feel uncomfortable/hard compared to Western beds. You will eat sitting on the tatami mats, but there are a couple of small Western chairs if sitting on the floor is difficut. The bathroom is Japanese style with the toilet in one section, the sink/vanity in a second section and the shower with separate furo (deep bathtub for soaking after washing in the shower) in the third section. It was not the most modern but all clean and more spacious than the Western hotel bathrooms we had other parts of Japan! There is a TV, wifi worked great and a bluetooth speaker to play music. There aren't a lot of "tourist" attractions nearby but it you want serenity this hits the spot - a few steps away has you walking among farming fields and the house is also close to the forest with a little stream running along side the road making for a peaceful but easy walk up the mountain. The gohan (rice) cooked in the old style stove was the best we ate our entire trip! Wish we had bought some of the local rice. It can get a little smoky when dinner is being cooked but my mild asthma was fine. The host, Hiro, is amazing, super accomodating and friendly, he introduced us to his shiba inu (dog) and his duck, and even though we didn't ask ahead, he prepped for us to make tofu - this experience was an extra fee but totally worth it! During the winter you can also request mochitsuki (pounding rice into mochi) and summer/fall you can make noodles (can't remember if he said soba, ramen or udon). Hiro's English is limited, but he's so engaging, we asked him to eat dinner with us and my daughter loved that...he has such good energy!
