Owner met us at the gate and was very informative. The little house was very clean and appointed. A good amount of privacy and the private soaking pool was excellent. Screens and AC but no bugs for us anyway. Quiet area very close to center of town with places to eat and beach toys to rent. No neighborhood barking dogs. A restaurant called La Carrera very close by was easily the best place we went to on the whole trip. We went 3 times. As a spoiled American that is picky about food, it would be a go to even at home in the US. Good cellular service.

Situato a Cabarete, nella provincia di Puerto Plata, a 300 m dalla spiaggia di Encuentro. The bungalows were perfect for me. Other people might not like it that is a bit far from the lobby and restaurant, but being by the beach is amazing. Service was amazing, specially Angie at the reception.

Deshaies and some nice beaches are just a few minutes of driving away. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and they speak English. We booked the Secret Lodge which was well-equipped (even for a longer stay) and had a terrace with amazing views over Deshaies bay. I would definitely come back here in the future.
