I was very well-fed by Suraksha and her family who prepared wonderful meals for me. There are also many locals who live there who are really such good fun to chat with that as a solo traveler I never felt lonely there. Most importantly, I was really glad to have a clean and comfortable room + bathroom and just chill at the balcony outside the room. On a cloudy day one can have a “unkai” experience - sea of clouds over the hills. It’s just really relaxing to see the fast-moving clouds and ever changing mountain landscape.

The cottage itself is a peaceful oasis, and I’m so grateful for the experience I had there. I wish Arjun and his family all the best in their future endeavors and thank them deeply for their hospitality. This stay was truly special, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and relaxing getaway.
