The Lodge is in a great location and we had a room with a beautiful view over the lake. We also enjoyed time in the property's private hot pool. The staff / owners were all very friendly and welcoming and we'll definitely be staying there again.

The property was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. Bron the host was very welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for the night.

The room was beautiful, the view was stunning, and every detail had been carefully thought out. Everything was spotless and well stocked, from the candles and champagne to the bathtub amenities, plush bedding and quality soaps. The heated towel racks were a lovely extra touch. The hosts were responsive and made sure everything was seamless. I can’t wait to come back.

Acacia Bay restaurant and lake walk fantastic. Good fenced yard for our dog. Well set up and organised. Warm house. Close to Taupo town too.

We liked everything about Hares Rest. The location is perfect and the Lodge is very comfortable and clean with a fabulous vista surrounded by beautiful gardens. Alli and Glyn, the hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful and they provided us with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The breakfast hamper Alli provided was very special and included her fresh homemade bread and granola, locally sourced fresh produce and her homemade treats, were delicious. The tranquil and relaxing environment of the lodge was fabulous and is near to Lake Taupo and a number of attractions in the surrounding area.I would not hesitate in recommending Hares Rest.

Kinloch Lakeview Lodge - Taupo, que cuenta con vistas al lago, ofrece alojamiento con balcón y hervidor, y está a unos 37 km de Orakei Korako. I like spacious living room area, big backyard, beautiful view scenery from the balcony. Overall an amazing house.
