The owner Beata welcomed us with a huge smile, she was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome, even if she did not speak English (we used Google and it was perfect like that). The cottage is simple and super charming, in a beautiful remote country location. We found a little cocoon with very fresh linen, a nice little mezzanine to accomodate our daughter and a lovely porch for dinner and breakfast.

We really like to make our own meals when possible, so appreciated the kitchen, which had a comfortable sitting area as well. The room looked out on the forest of Augustow, and the house was in a beautiful area with lots of gardens and interesting old houses, so very pleasant to walk to the shops by the canal. Our hosts were very helpful and hospitable, and we felt very much at home.

I almost don't want to write a review so that I can keep this place all to myself, but alas I want others to enjoy this! The property is large and there are so many activities that you can do like play volleyball, badminton, play around in the pool, or simply just relax! We came with our dogs and they had the time of their life. As the location is extremely quiet and peaceful. If you love the night sky, I can only absolutely recommend this place, we went there to watch the meteor showers and were able to see so many falling stars and parts of the Milkyway, it was stunning! We also went to some lakes in the surrounding areas and especially if you go to some less touristy ones you can swim and relax in extremely clean and healthy lakes. The owner was also extremely kind and helpful! Will absolutely come again!
