I like all - from meeting of kind owner, little, but important details in the bathroom, (like teeth brush of bamboo,), we could find all equipments in kitchen, supper breakfast, when even croissant🥐 and bread were warm. I like a lot friendly to health dishes 🫙( i mean bottles from glass to keep milk, jam and butter, i usually use just such, it was perfect!!! ), very good wine, i think it was from local grapes🍇, even virgin olive oil🫒, which owners gave to us to do food. I adored to stay in this cute rustic cottage , soo nice view from little yard to mountains, birds singing in mornings and it was so great to eat in the yard, to smell roses, to enjoy views of mountains, to see sunsets. The village was fantastic, some old houses were from stones too, around olives trees and we could hear romantic church bells. Nearby a village you can find very nice mountain river with stone bridge. Around silence of nature, soooo calm and fantastic, obrigado, superr, adore..It was really great my birthday journey to mountains. 💜💚

The house was super cute! We were greeted on arrival. The house has been reconstructed very thoughtfully with cute vintage decor. The village was perfect - quiet but had some amenities. There were lots of hikes to do right from the house. Beautiful views from the bedrooms.

The views around the property are amazing. Very comfortable deck chairs to sit outside. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts on the day. The breakfast was amazing lots of fruit and bread and croissants delivered on the morning.

The house used to be a monastery and has deep history but you wouldn’t know it without the host telling you. It has all the modern features but the history makes it even more special. What was truly best was the host. Roi and his family became our family while here as well. That might not be what everyone might appreciate, but for us it made our stay even more enjoyable. They gave us full privacy but we wanted to get to know them better and they allowed that. Including sharing some time with Steve, their dog. So special.

You have everything you need included some typical Portuguese treats from the host. The house is situated a walking distance from a river beach and from some other beautiful natural spots in half an hour driving distance. Rosa, the host, was very gentle and attentive, replying quickly to our contacts. A wonderful stay, we will return!
