Chalets are exceptional in terms of style, location, view and cleanliness. The beach is yours, Christopher is doing everything possible to make it comfortable for his guests. Of course you will share the garden with guests from the second chalet. If they are from Germany, they will of course „block“ their sunbeds with towels early morning :-) But just as a hint: no need to worry and no need to block them. There are more than enough available. Just Avoid being stressed, put yourself in „relax mode“ and enjoy some takamaka on the beach. Distance to grand anse and source d’argent is fine, The reggae bar is not far away and it’s only 200 m to zilair helipad which is also comfortable. Summarized: We have been in various locations on Seychelles over the past - but this little paradise beats them all. Many thanks to Christopher! We will be back! Stefan&Doris

Super nice surroundings, clean and spacious. Host was very nice and helpful. We were provided with a storage for our luggage and a shower before departure which was super nice. You can rent a bike during your stay for a nice price. Do recommend.

Photos need updating bc I wasn’t expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean it was! We stayed in the back one on the left when facing it. Very spacious! Comfy bed AC great WiFi good. Peaceful and cozy felt right at home. Has beach access and is beautiful! Has everything you would need and provided water for 50 Sr which was so convenient. No need to go rent bikes they have them there. They gave my daughter a bottle of wine for her birthday! Felt very safe! Store and eateries in walking distance. Can’t go wrong staying here! The lanai was my fave spot and the orange birds and “chickens?” came right up on it. This is true island vibes! Loved the villa and the property is kept very pristine. Location is fantastic! Very short bike ride to grand anse entrance and anse source d’argent (in the park). She ordered a punctual taxi for pickup to jetty!

The place is uniquely located in the heart of the island. The villas are at open air keeping you very in touch with nature. The area of the villa hosts the secret garden with several animals rescued during years (such a giant bat and big turtles) and with two amazing view points to have a 360 degrees perspective of La Digue surroundings. Gerard is a great host always able to give fantastic tips to discover the unconventional La Digue. The staff is very nice and the food was AMAZING!

As everyone has already mentioned, the breakfast is very hearty and delicious. The room is spotless and is cleaned daily. The cooking corner is well equipped. The staff could not be friendlier! Always available and happy to help. They made our stay very special. Many thanks for the very early breakfast they arranged for us on the departure day. Highly recommended place to stay on La Digue and I guess one of the best price-wise.

Το Le Surmer Self Catering Chalets βρίσκεται στο νησί La Digue και προσφέρει θέα στην παραλία Anse Reunion. I loved our stay in La Digue, and this accommodation is a good base for exploring the island. The chalet was very clean. We could rent good quality bikes right at the property. Breakfast was ok, but I would have loved a cappuccino :)

La Digue Island Lodge has its own diving centre on Anse Reunion Beach. A sun terrace overlooking the ocean sits by the pool with swim-up bar. We were in one of the Lodge’s special buildings, in the house located within the L'Union Estate National Park. It is completely separate from the main building and the double bungalows, and you have to cycle about 1 km to reach the main building. In return, you can enter the national park for free, and several times a day you pass the Grand Monolith and the giant tortoises living beneath it. I recommend this for families, as there are two separate rooms with two bathrooms and a central area with a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, kettle), and we also had a washing machine. There was also a large TV with many channels available. There is plenty of space, the building is airy, not a tiny hotel room. The terrace is wonderful because from there you can see the ocean – the water is about 10 metres from the house – and you can walk down between fig trees and palms to the white sand. Since this area is part of the otherwise closed national park, there is nobody on the beach, even though in theory they could be, because in Seychelles all beaches are accessible, so anyone can go there. It is astonishing how undisturbed the beach is – in the evening the crabs had dug themselves into the sand, knowing that between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. nobody would be around. I congratulate the people of La Digue and Seychelles for their nature-friendly way of life; we also tried not to disturb the wildlife. At night there is perfect silence, only the roar of the ocean can be heard. We booked the house with breakfast, and it was very good – varied and tasty. It was great that breakfast was available until 10 a.m., so late enough that there was no stress. The house is a 15-minute bike ride from one of the world’s most beautiful beaches (Grand Anse) and within walking distance of another (Anse Source d’Argent). Every single person we came into contact with was very kind, helpful, and polite.
