The outdoor space is truly a highlight — spacious, well-maintained, and featuring excellent and fully functional grills that made cooking outdoors a breeze. Enjoying a meal with the stunning view of Mount Shasta in the background was unforgettable. Inside, the home is clean and spacious and gives off a warm, cozy, and homy atmosphere. The fireplace added the perfect touch of comfort, and the bathtub was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place strikes the perfect balance. I would absolutely stay here again!

In this house you will feel like real home which is exceptional clean where the kindly and hospitable host takes care of every small details (i.e. cosmetics in the bathroom, nice towels, beding, carpets). Strongly recommend! 10/10

Good sized fridge, microwave and free WiFi. Parking on street right outside. Friendly town with riverside park and a few restaurants/ coffee shops for dining. Garden out the front with decked area and plenty of seating with BBQ.

Το Black Bear Lodge βρίσκεται στο South Lake Tahoe, περίπου 0,8χλμ. από τη λίμνη και 1,6χλμ. από το λιφτ γόνδολα στο Heavenly. Great staff, great location and the rooms, gardens and hotel areas are really nice. A great place to relax and enjoy Tahoe. Close enough to easily get to restaurants but far enough out to give peace and quiet. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and thoughtful.

The room was spacious, the bed was ridiculously comfortable and it was dead silent at night so naturally deep sleep ensued and I woke up refreshed! I didn’t eat the breakfast so I am unable to comment but the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Only 7-8 mins drive to charming downtown Nevada City and a little further is Grass Valley.
