We would get freshly prepared local Nepali food which was absolutely delicious! They have a wide selection of authentic local food to choose from. If you're in the right season, you can also get to try some fresh local honey! The location of the homestay is great, it is very close to the entrance of the national park. We had a great stay here, and had some incredible wildlife sightings (Rhinos, elephants, tigers, hornbills) thanks to the sharp eyes of Tek Bahadur (fondly called Pappu). Will definitely come to visit again!

I absolutely loved everything at this homestay. You will get a true insight of what the culture and way of life is staying around this amazing nepali family. Sarita's food is truly something and it all comes from the their garden since Basu is doing an amazing work around the property. The house is in the middle of wheat and mustard fields, it is so relaxing to walk around in this atmosphere. Shardul will help you figure out whatever problem you have, his kindness is on another level. Not to mention the wonderful experience you will have in the jungle with him. Walking safari is about patience and luck but it's definitely worth it.

Nice and lovely staff who give good recommendations and Prakash is a good guide to spot tigers in the jungle. The rooms are big and very clean and the wifi works well. I recommend this place if you want to stay in bardia.

The owner is a very experienced safari guide. On the jungle walk and jeep safari he offers I was able to see wild rhinos, elephants and even a tiger. He is also very helpful (gave good recommendations, helped book the bus back to Kathmandu...). Food, especially fried rice with omelette for the jungle walks, is just amazing. Can only recommend.

If you're ever intend to visit Nepal's Bardia Wildlife Resort, you have to stay at this lovely Bardia Riverside View Park Resort for the reasons outlined below: The resort is nestled right bang in the middle of many villages and sitting right across Bardia Wildlife Resort. The place is amazing and yes, it's definitely a resort surrounded by trees, amazing garden and a few houses for visitors. Resort food is deliciously amazing, the staff made me feel like I was part of the family, we sat, we talked, we laughed and smile some more! I really loved my stay at the resort so much that I extended, keep up the good work, Anil.

I really don't know what to say - words fail me.... Gratitude, respect, thankfulness!!! Thank You Very Much, it's like saying nothing... 20 out of 10 possible points won't reflect the experiences I had here!!! Simply-you have to stay there for a while to experience it all. We have visited Bardia National Park 4 times. There are a lot of lodges and resorts, and they all offer pretty much the same things. But Bardia Wildlife Resort TRULY stood out. We stayed in a newly renovated room with air conditioning, good wifi, excellent meals. We took all our meals in the beautiful garden. We were surprised to see pizza and lasagna on the menu! And even more surprised when it really WAS pizza and lasagna! A welcome change from the usual Nepali food. The personal attention was incredible! Hira, the owner, took my wife into town to a fabric store where they made her two comfortable dresses for 1700 rupees, about 14 USD. I work in health care, and they arranged a visit to a local clinic, as well as the usual jeep and walking trips into the park.

Mr. B's Place has free bikes, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Bhurkīā. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

Really great stay. We were met at the bus station (without having asked) and driven back to the hotel. Super friendly staff, who went above and beyond to be helpful. Managed to get us a bus ticket and arrange it all for us. Also we loved the safari, which was all sorted for us.
