A thoroughly liveable city, Melbourne has a buzzy vibe and an Aussie sense of fun. There’s always something going on, and one of its many festivals is Moomba – Australia’s largest free arts festival. South of the Yarra River is St Kilda, home to the best beach and Albert Park, where the F1 Australian Grand Prix is held. However, this is not the city’s only sporting heritage. It’s also the home of Aussie Rules football and the MCG, a must-see for cricket fans.

We came for the Starwars Lego and enjoyed another exhibition at Melbourne Museum at discounted rates on the same day. We also loved the Free city circle tram, the SkyDeck at night; the Fox Car Collection and the Hellenic Museum; we loved the easy layout of Melbourne where there are lots of things to see within the FREE tram zone and/or on foot. Southbank/South Wharf has amazing eateries, and good coffee places area a dime a dozen! The best city, full of life and friendly people, great markets, shops and eateries to suit all tastes. The public transport system is one of the best, purchase a myki card and travel to your hearts content. Roscoe on St.Kilda Rd Melbourne, try and Im sure you will go back, great Italian cuisine. Very pretty city I loved walking around in the city centre and hopping on and off the trams.I plan to be back there regularly. I was visiting my son We ate out at a variety of of restaurants easy to get to all over the city.
