    Get your bearings, see Jeff at the information centre, so helpful with maps and recommendations- then just keep going, choices are endless for rain forest walks, falls, botanical gardens and of course Gallery Walk which includes the German Cuckoo clock shop and George’s Greek restaurant- fabulous place to visit.

    Very interesting area with many rainforest walks.

    Very interesting area with many rainforest walks. The B & B is very comfortable accommodation with million-dollar views of the Gold Coast. Breakfast was served on the deck accompanied by Pied Butcherbirds and Sulphur-crested Cockatoos. The stone archway and flower planters were there in 1966.

    Mt tamborine needs a face lift.

    Mt tamborine needs a face lift. Looking very tired on it now from what it looked like in the 70ies More like a forgotten place with lots of dilapidated buildings, with some junk stores in the tourist spots

    Provides a relaxing holiday with plenty to do. Genuine characters, great food & plenty of local treats/ owner run establishments with friendly staff. A wonderful holiday if you looking to get back to nature.

    Great outdoor experience although the township is a little...

    Great outdoor experience although the township is a little bit touristy. Amazing rainforests nestled around Mt Tamborine. Great place for walking and seeing native scenery. Easy to get around by car. A few basic restaurants around although most were closed on the 2 nights we were there!

    Lots of lovely gift shops and eateries to visit on Gallery Walk although parking can be tricky. Thunderbird Park is a great place with lots of varied activities for kids and adults alike. We stayed near the Botanic Gardens which was a lovely place to explore

    The accommodation is set in a beautiful garden with stunning views over the Gold Coast and Mount Tamborine area and is very private and tranquil. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We loved the home made breakfast served on the deck area with its lovely views. Owners Jess and Albert were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a really lovely place to stay.

    The hotel offers a complete retreat experience. It’s lovely to walk around to pat the alpacas, goats, look at the fishes in the hotel’s premise. The experience staying in Songbirds went beyond my expectation and it was one experience of my life time. I would love to come back.
