The day at Watson's Bay was wonderful.
The day at Watson's Bay was wonderful. Walking up to the lighthouse and seeing the old lighthouse keeper's cottage was a beautiful view of the ocean and harbour. Eating at Doyles for fish and chips was pretty special too. Walking through Martin's Place in the city and going up Centrepoint Tower gave us a great understanding of the big picture of Sydney and out to the suburbs. Walking around the Opera House and the Botanical Gardens was great. Darling Harbour has much to offer with The Maritime Museum and Madam Tussaud's wax museum being highlights. We visited Sydney to attend an engagement party at the Ivory Penthouse! What a magnificent venue with charming décor, delicious food, tasty beverages and very friendly staff. We enjoyed walking around soaking in the atmosphere of Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour and Bondi Beach. Sydney is fabulous for families - lots to do and some things are even free like the Hyde Park Barracks - definitely worth a visit.
