We really liked our first visit in Toronto, from bicycling on Central Island to Casa Loma on (nearly) top of the city. Evening vibes from the sightseeing bus to walking in Allan Horticultural Park. Enjoyed the town art from Chinatown to the 27 dogs fountain. Also enjoyed a variety of lovey food.

Brilliant city with lots of things to do.

Brilliant city with lots of things to do. It's a very walkable city. We used public transport and it was good as well. You can buy a day ticket for the subway and trams, which is handy. Eating out isn't that expensive but if you're coeliac you will struggle. I would recommend the Wendy's for a cheap, gluten free salad. We also ate at the CN Tower and they were able to give me a decent, gluten free meal. You will smell lots of cannabis while walking around the city as it's legal in Canada, but don't let this put you off. The city seems safe enough and the people are polite and friendly, on the whole. We will definitely be back.

There is so much to see and do, and coming from a UK city, I felt rather small in the city of Toronto. We.made the CNE which was vast and so.much to see and do at it, plus (unknowingly) were there for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and saw some film stars up close. Visited the zoo, aquarium and CN Tower using the CityPass (worth every penny). Had food at Vagabonds which was lovely. The traffic is horrendous though, so research getting around as some places u need to travel more than a walking distance to get to. We wne to Niagara as well, did the lady of the mist boat trip and got the pass to do stuff on the strip. Also had food at the rainforest place which is great for kids x

I really enjoyed my time in Toronto, but I have to say...

I really enjoyed my time in Toronto, but I have to say Roger’s Stadium (not to be confused with Roger’s Centre) was a huge disappointment. Getting there was a trek, and the uneven walking path was rough—my wife even twisted her ankle. The stadium itself didn’t feel sturdy at all, swaying uncomfortably, and the overall organization left a lot to be desired. For example, people weren’t allowed to get to their seats because of “wind concerns,” which only made me worry more about how the structure was built. (The show was rescheduled and we were set to see our band at 7:20, yet they weren't letting us in at that time, and they wouldn't even tell us why.) Having been to Woodstock ’99, I can honestly say this place gave me the same uneasy feeling—like an accident waiting to happen. That said, the rest of the trip was wonderful. We had a beautiful stroll through Edward’s Gardens, enjoyed the absolute best onion rings ever at Rosie’s Burgers (their shakes are amazing too!), and had a great breakfast at Stacked Pancakes in Ontario. I’d gladly come back to Toronto again—just never for a concert at Roger’s Stadium.

    Toronto is a relaxing place.

Toronto is a relaxing place. There are a ton of food options and the cuisines are very multicultural. There are food halls everywhere. There is a small waterfront and park, and several sites including museums. It is close to Niagara Falls.

    Extremely nice people, Canadians.

Extremely nice people, Canadians. Recent immigrants can do a lot better in customer service and friendliness, they should be happy to live in such a great country, but many (esp. from Eastern European and Asian) fail, because not fully canadianized. Fortunately, there are exceptions, like the Chinese Scotiabank bank manager on Dundas and Spadina. He was efficient, helpfull, understanding and effective. He was the best embassador of Canada to me and made my day.

The location of the hotel is great, especially if you want to visit the financial district, downtown Yonge or the CN tower. It was also great for us to take the ferry to the Toronto Islands. The staff was also very nice and helpfull. We arrived in the morning and they kept our luggage until they could give us our room and they came immediately with the additional bed and towels. Even if we had an adicional bed and our luggage in the room, it was still big enough not to fiel uncomfortable.

Location is perfect. King Street TTC Subway station is right behind the hotel. And there is a TTC subway exit that goes to the PATH underground to Melinda St from King St TTC station that has indoor access by scanning your hotel access key card. You don't have to go outside to go to the hotel in snowy cold weather. The front desk reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a great hotel and close to Union Station downtown Toronto

Perfect location when you are in Toronto for an event downtown. Staff were very accommodating regarding leaving bags. Didn't hear or see any other soul staying in the hotel room. Thankful that there wasn't additional fees and/or a giant deposit — this seems rare recently.

The tariff of bed here is very reasonable. This is the cheapest in downtown Toronto. Also, its location is good and many popular places are not far from here. Moreover, Pearson airport is just 30 minutes away from here.

Loved the location for seeing downtown toronto. It's not a fancy hotel but it's a nice college dorm room with fridge and microwave and separate bedrooms. Was exactly what we needed.
