    The only surprise we had was on out outward-bound flight to another South American country. You need to show proof of onward travel to your final destination ie your home country. Also arrive at least 3 hours early

    I'm here to stay, it's a lovely city so much to see and do, good people, you have to stay safe still and be careful, the mountain views are so nice there waterfall a, 🚠 line to see everything much better, paragliding is not too far, botanical garden and amusement park, many many malls very luxurious with giant arcade, movie theater, gyms, tennis court, soccer field , many coffee shops very sweet , if you rent a car you could go see the wild nature and enjoy more

    So many places to visit, so little time.

    So many places to visit, so little time. Everyone on the streets were very welcoming and ready to provide directions or assist. Great relaxing culture with amazing restaurants. We will stay longer next time! We visited during the week of Festival of the Flowers and that was a bonus! Many places like plaza Provenza as a plus!

    The hotel is kind of new one (6 months) very good service, breakfast was so good, customer service was very good. the only negative comment is that the hallways did not have air conditioner and while you walked through to go to the room it was like walking outside on the street, absolutely hot. the other think is they did not have ice machine. I visited the place 2 days before the staying and I asked the girl that work in the cafeteria if they had ice to take to the room and she said NOT. I cannot believe with that temperature and no ICE?... well the day I checked in I bought ice in Market 3 blocks away and solved the problem... But the place is nice, my room had good air conditioner and the jacuzzi was an extra amenity; I think the jacuzzi is a little high, literally you have to jump to get down, maybe if they place a little step to get in and out.

    What a diverse place, didn’t realize how big it was. You definitely need to get a taxi or Uber to get around. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, lovely people even when language was a barrier . Lots of museums and things to do, Jardin Botanical was free and very beautiful. Parque Explora would be great for kids. Comuna 13 also worth a visit to find the street vendors and escalators

    Medellin has so much to offer. What an amazing city!

    Medellin has so much to offer. What an amazing city! Being an Interior Designer, I was truly inspired by all the restaurants and cafes and I loved that Medellin allows nature to be heavily in the mix throughout the city, malls and bars. That to me was the most outstanding thing.

    We had a wonderful stay at Café Hotel Medellín - the staff were so nice and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and had long hours, the location was safe and picturesque but also a short walk to the restaurant scene in El Poblado. The wifi was so fast and worked well, and a huge room for what we paid. Fantastic view from our room on the 10th floor, I’d also recommend checking out the rooftop near sunset. Incredible!

    Very pretty place and super friendly, helpful staff. I initially booked this guest house, I arrived in the early afternoon and heard construction sounds near my room. When I asked for a quieter room they offered to relocate to the nearby luum boutique hotel. It was equally nice, friendly and comfortable, and much quieter. Slept very well and one of the best arepas con huevos I had in Colombia :)

    A perfect way to meet people in such a big city as Medellín. Also convenient to book excursions. like the one to Comuna 13. For in Colombia not cheap, but for sure highly recommended. The same is true for the hostel itself. I had a good time there. I really liked the salsa class and the beer pong in the evenings.

    This was the first Colombian hotel I came across where they offered a breakfast buffet and it was great! The shower had warm water often (that seems to be rare in Colombia) The personnel was friendly. They allowed me to drop off excess luggage that I was carrying for 2 days before I even checked in.

    Really good hostel in a brilliant location. Less than 10 minutes from the Poblado station and about 15 minutes to Parque Lleras. The hostel is secure and spotless. The room was very comfortable. There was even a hot shower which you don't always get in Colombia!
