    The history, the cathedral, the churches, the shopping, the bars, the nightlife, the wonderful Harbour walks along the sea front, i'm finding it really hard to find anything negative to say about the place or the apartments other than the cafe next door to the apartments was absolutely horrendous

    Cathedral is 'mandatory' (pre-book) Main shopping streets are great but wander off to right and left for a more authentic experience. The Hotel St Francis rooftop bar is magical at night. Open to non residents in the evening if you can cope with the Instagramers. Stay there if you can afford it and enjoy the rooftop bar and small pool during the heat of the summer

    What a great city - the cathedral is spectacular -it is easy...

    What a great city - the cathedral is spectacular -it is easy to get around (we hired bikes). Easy access by walking and the old town is gorgeous - full of little, squares and intriguing little roads. Eating out is so easy (sadly the exchange rate makes it a little pricey) and delicious.

    The island is somehow harvey doubleface: on the one side, the horrible magaluf or ratjada beer and sun binge meccas, on the other side, the highly historic palma or alcudia, the prehistoric sites at record density. The "cala" beaches scattered almost all around the island are a dream... when you manage to escape the crowds. Yeah, the ranson of iconicness... You can escape it by visiting them early in the morning, or outside the top of season, which alas extends deep in september, before October is abruptly exposed to "mediterranean episodes" of catastrophic rainstorms. We visited the island mostly on foot and taking buses/taxis, and it was quite efficient and cheap. It allowed us to see what you would skip with a rental car. We could have stayed longer. PS: what we hated: locals are pigs considering the dog shit smearing most of the streets and the tons of plastic refuse thrown by drivers and passers by on the side of streets and basically everywhere there are human flows. Hope culture will change.

    away from the tourist areas this city is wonderful to explore, try the hop on hop off bus for a way to spot areas to visit on your stay. great for snacks and some real good resturants, night life is great.

    We loved the location and the classic feel to the decor throughout the hotel. For a city room it was spacious clean and comfortable with a larger bathroom compared to most places we’ve stayed in. The location was great with only a 5ish minute walk to the edge of old town. The staff are very friendly and would do anything for you and made some great recommendations for cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again as the price for the hotel was great compared to others in the area.

    Beautiful hotel, nicely renovated, sparkling clean and not far from the old town. The staff is very helpful and gave us nice recommendations for restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good and with great offers for lunch. I'd definitely recommend this place
