As a pilgrim who has walked into Santiago twice, I will always enjoy the energy of this city. It's so special. There are great restaurants and cafes/bars and plenty of historical buildings to visit. The cathedral is a must and the museum. Whether or not you are a religious person, the historical significance is impressive. Beautiful small city with a stunning cathedral. The cathedral is free to visit. We did queue for about 40 mins for entry but it was well worth it, especially seeing the extraordinary spectacle of the swinging of the huge incense censer at midday mass. Its a beautiful city with lots to see and do. It was where i was beginning my start of the camino from here to Finsterre onto Muxia I had enough time to stroll round, to the roof top tour of the cathedral, visit the pilgrims museum and also get great tapas and great food. Loads to choose from A very easy city to navigate and walk around, with beautiful architecture. Bonasi was a great cafe with delicious food and coffee, definitely do the roof top tour and get some tapas. The only thing to remember most places are closed on Sundays so be mindful of this and many places close for the afternoon and reopen for food between 7:30/8:30pm so depending on when you like to have lunch/dinner keep this in mindGuest review byLouiseIreland

The hotel has a lift making it ideal for people of all ages. The property has a 24hr car park organised where they will pay a percentage of the overall fee.
