    It was relatively easy to get to the city from this hotel,...

    It was relatively easy to get to the city from this hotel, so we were happy with it. The metro was only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The area wasn't the best, but we didn't stay there during the day. We went to the city centre in the morning and came back only in the evening, so it didn't bother us too much.

    The city is less crowded compared to most of the other...

    The city is less crowded compared to most of the other cities we visited. It was easy to get the metro and travel while being safe. We encountered one drunk man who was trying to grab my hand. Apart from that it was not so bad. We bought the stuff we wanted from Auchan which was pretty easy to find and avoided dinning at restaurants.

    Montreuil as an area has a mixed environment of different...

    Montreuil as an area has a mixed environment of different cultural groups and people. The area itself is not as bad as some people make it out to be and is generally safe. You can come across some lovely people in different areas, and there are a few eateries around, fast food spots included. When i was there, an Afro-francopone festival was taking place with food, dancing and an african market. There is a metro that gives you access to the centre of Paris where you can connect to anywhere.

    Friendly staff and helpful in my area of hotel, charged to leave luggage for couple of hours after been refused to hold them but a friendly man staff member sorted it for us as we had a toddler, not to keen on location, a lot of men hanging around the area, bathroom was absolutely filthy dirty toilet seat all broken hole in bathroom door and wood,filthy tiles, bad lighting, tiny mirror, bathroom was absolutely shocking to say the least. Lifts took forever to come down or up so when you took stairs it was hard work with a toddler.

    It is a great location to stay if you are looking to stay...

    It is a great location to stay if you are looking to stay just outside Paris, with an easy access route into the city. M9 subway is a major line into many parts of the city. Montreuil is perfect if you like to stay in a multi-cultural environment. It has lots of stores and restaurants/cafés of all flavors.

    very cozy place located near the metro and bus stations (it takes only 20-30 minutes to get to the centre of Paris by metro from there), great price compared to the costs of hotels in Paris. inside you have everything you'd need and probably even more (I didn't even use some things in the kitchen because I was walking in Paris a lot). the host is very welcoming and nice. stayed here for a week, enjoyed my stay, absolutely recommend

    This is a perfectly good little hotel in Montreuil. Staff are charming and friendly and it's great being able to check-in until late. It's right nearby Croix de Chavaux metro, which makes it very convenient. I live in the neighbourhood but couldn't accommodate my nephew for one night while he was visiting Paris, so this was a great and economical alternative (an equivalent in central Paris would have been far more expensive).

    For a budget hotel close to Paris you can't complain, close to the metro and easy access into Paris via the metro and an uber which wasn't too expensive. If you're looking for somewhere to just get your head down on a budget it's ideal. The hotel was home to some cats which was nice to see.

    Good basic hotel just outside Boulevard Périphérique. Perfect for a short stay, the nearest metro station is about a km or 10 min. walk away. There's an Aldi round the corner for groceries.
