Meals were included and good. Staff were friendly. Room was good and large, even though called cosy. Maybe they meant it was ‘homely’. rather than cosy as it certainly wasn’t small.

What a beautiful village pub with friendly locals & fantastic staff, on arrival I was really early but my room was already available, my room was extremely spacious with TV tea / coffee etc & nice & warm, definitely recommend for a night or two, weekend away etc Thanks to Dave & Joanne for fantastic hospitality & a cracking breakfast

This place is Charming. A real medieval inn. The food was incredible the location was fantastic and the attention to detail in the rooms was Charming. Our room was in a cottage across the road from the Inn making it very quiet and very quaint. I would stay here again and we'll check out the other Young locations

    We loved the hotel it was everything we expected.

    We loved the hotel it was everything we expected. The garden dining area was so lovey and the staff through out the hotel were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a night or two stay whilst in cotswalds.

    There is not much here as it's a tiny little hamlet.

    There is not much here as it's a tiny little hamlet. The Metheun Arms must do a tremendous business as I don't know what other restaurant/inn is around. Luckily for us, it (MA) was a fabulous place! The old church is a pretty thing/old cemetery too (with a gravestone that sites some 107 year old woman had "fresh teeth" (story has that she grew a 3rd set! EW!). One grocery store, a few shops ... not much but walking the footpath was lovely. Lots of peacocks, which was novel. The museum we wanted to see wasn't open when we were there.

    Good for walking - many walking routes provided by Corsham walkers are welcome website - It has a variety of good local independent shops. Good public transport connections between primarily Bath and Chippenham with other buses going elsewhere. Plenty of pubs and cafes Good local sports centre at the Springfield campus

    Our trip was to attend my Uncles Funeral at Westerleigh...

    Our trip was to attend my Uncles Funeral at Westerleigh Crematorium on the outskirts of Bristol, sadly due to work commitments are stay visiting the area was one day at the funeral and Wake and a night either side, so not long enough to sample the delights on offer seeing the area surrounding Bristol and Bath we saw very little. We know the area so hopefully we will be able to visit soon and discover more hidden delights available

    We stayed in Corsham as a base for visiting Bath (approx 12 miles outside) and so glad that we did. The location is very picturesque with beautiful countryside and the hotel was beautiful. If you don't want to stay in the middle of a city and like to experience the best of both worlds, this was an excellent option.

    Nice village with amazing green spaces, woodland and river location. Excellent for dog walking, places to stay and eat. Great walking but some steep hills to climb , some lovely traditions buildings, and friendly locals Stayed at the Quarryman’s Arms , lovely place with great food and amazing views. Busy with locals and packed full for dinner & in the bar which is always a good sign.

    The property is very well located reasonably close to Corsham and within easy driving distance of Bath. It has a great range of equipment and appliances and is spacious for a single roomed annexe, with a large comfortable bed. There is space for one car on the driveway and it has a powerful and easy to control shower in the bathroom area. The hosts had left an initial supply of teas, coffees, milk and biscuits which was much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

    The room was exceptional, spacious, clean and so well equipped 100% luxury. Lovely bathroom with the lovely touch of a basket of toiletries to use if needed. The breakfast goods provided surpassed some hotels I have stayed in, excellent choices. The outside seating area is the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you and congratulations to the host for all her hardworking in developing truly excellent accommodation.

    The art and displays in the lounges was amazing! Food was also spot on, lovely dining room crammed with feasts for the eyes, our room was large, comfortable and a perfect mix of modern and chic eccentric. The grounds are definitely worth a stroll around, it's an unusual and captivating venue, perfect proximity to Bath and Wiltshire. Can't wait to go back 😊

Our room on the ground floor in the Garden area was adequate for our needs, and very clean, but it could do with a little updating. The staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble.
