You are made to feel welcome even before you get to the hotel with kind enquiries about what they can do for your comfort (and then fulfilling the requests). Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is just amazing, the staff so kind and attentive, the food is sublime and the decor of the restaurant is just magical. The gardens are just superb and a main reason to visit, and the very extensive grounds are a delight. We’ll definitely be back!

It was amazing. We loved our stay in the cottage. Everything was top notch. Celebrated my father-in-law’s 80th birthday and the whole family being together in such a great atmosphere added to our celebrations.

Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and furnished beautifully. The food was good and the terrace lovely for drinks. Breakfast was excellent and offered traditional full English and a range of vegan, vegetarian and other tempting choices. I would definitely go back there. The location enabled us to walk straight onto the high street with its historic buildings and great shops and eating venues. Parking is available close by. We would recommend the Gothic house and will be returning there. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.

Iv now stayed in both of the customers properties and can say they are both immaculately finished to a high standard, very cozy and quiet. The shops and restaurants are 2-3 minutes walk away and the properties are both perfectly sized for 2-4 people comfortably..

    We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years...

    We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years having grown up in a village very close by and attending school there. In our opinion, it is not as nice as it was, we moved away some 10 years ago to escape the never ending urban sprawl, high street decline, and neon monstrosities built after demolishing irreplaceable period buildings. That said, there isn't really a lot to do, and is best summed up as a stop over for Gatwick Airport, a shame really as we have many fond memories.

    Such a beautiful and relaxing hotel with amazingly friendly stuff who's always there happy to help beautiful bar area food was amazing it was honestly one of my favourite get aways we wished that we booked extra nights it was so relaxing just what we needed

    Poor value. Like a Premier Inn but 4 times the cost. Bathroom too small, facilities overall very tired. Bar very transient - poor lighting, no ambience Spa/pool area - very cold, poor lighting, very busy, looed very tired

    Great place to explore the countryside and visit local attractions (Hever Castle, Churchill house, Tunbridge Wells). The area has some lovely places to eat and drink, especially The Wiremill Lakeside Pub & Inn.

    Pleasant stay, staff were lovely and the breakfast selection was excellent and really good value. The facilities were clean and well prepared, the bar was comfortable and a good selection of drinks. Overall we had a lovely stay for our event at Lingfield Racecourse.

    Really lovely staff who clearly care a lot about their business. Nice cosy hotel with very comfy bed and excellent location. I stayed as I had a hospital apt at QVH and it was just a short walk, but hotel is right in the lovely historic old town part of East Grinstead with shops, cafes and bookshop a short walk. Breakfast was exceptional. Would definitely stay again.
