Lovely big room. Quiet room. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast.     Farnham is nice and connected to Chawton House nearby, which is a great place to visit. The Revd Henry Austen brother of Jane was effectively the vicar of Farnham from 1822-1827. It has a fine castle and museum and Castle Street is lovely. Downing Street is about to be pedestrinised. St Andrews and its close is charming.

    The Sculpture Park which is next to the Bel and Dragon is a remarkable location and well worth the visit. There’s some 10 acres of grounds within which there are an astonishing number and large variety of sculptures. Unique in my experience is the opportunity to buy any piece too.

    I was born in Farnham 72 years ago and had only returned once 32 years ago! Some things had changed massively but others not. Parish church along with the adjacent school loked just the same. It was nice to reminisce.

    We didn’t go into Farnham but the area around the Surrey Hills is beautiful. Good for cycling and walking, although we were visiting nearby Ramster Gardens and Weald and Downland museum both lovely and very interesting.

    Farnham is a lovely town with lots of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from, as well as plenty of shops to look around. It's a very pretty place with a good range of green space and parks to explore. There's lots of interesting history too, with old buildings and architecture to discover. The Castle Restaurant and Petite Pattisseria were our favourite places to eat. It has everything you need for a few days holiday.

    Didn't visit the town as I was working. Traffic is an issue with lots of road works and some traffic light systems that clog up the road quickly and put up the price of a taxi ride! Taxis the most expensive I have experienced over the travelling I have done over recent months. Uber not always available. Train station gave easy access to London.

    Good sized room with excellent space for a laptop. The rooms were generally kept extremely well. Nice and warm. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Mobile price was extremely reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hogs Back Hotel again. Would like to stay there in the summer to enjoy the gardens.

    Nice hotel in the countryside next to a lake, decent room with a patio and chairs outside. Lovely bar area with garden looking onto lake, good selection of drinks and the food was good. Room spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom with huge walk in shower.

    Staff extremely friendly and helpful, value for money vs ofher hotels around Farnham. Dave the ‘night watchman’ was so accommodating and even opened the bar just so I could have a night-cap and a good chat with him! Staff on reception super helpful too.
