    We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to...

    We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to Kythera. There are loads of restaurants to eat at, we can swim here and it is the perfect place to base yourself as you will need to drive around Kythera to visit the sights/beaches/towns. It is my 4th time visiting and we’ll be back to stay at Romantica.

    The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid...

    The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.

    We fell in love with the island and could have stayed much...

    We fell in love with the island and could have stayed much longer. So much natural beauty, wonderful beaches, charming villages, great tavernas. We did a lot of swimming in the sea, so many beaches to choose from (we liked Loukidimis Paleopolis and Fourni especially). Swimming in the grotto at Avelamos was another highlight. Also enjoyed just driving through the countryside and stoping in town squares along the way to eat and explore shops. Mylopotomas was our favorite village, eat at the taverna in the center of town. Enchanting. The view from the castle in Chora is spectacular. We appreciated that the island was not over run by tourists. Our accommodations at Castri Village were so comfortable and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It was so easy to walk down to the village and enjoy. We ate every night on the beach in Agia Pelagia. Amazing ambiance, food and hospitality.

    Beautiful location, beauuuutiful view from the balcony, very easy access to the beautiful beach and restaurants on the main road below our hilltop location (mind the steep hill if you're here without a car and walking during the hottest daytime hours, though). Very cute little apartments with all amenities -- kitchen, living room, bedroom, wifi, spacious balcony, all very welcoming and safe for my dog too.

    It’s a lovely hotel with great facilities. Everything is very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended to anyone. The town had a power outage (due to storm) while we were but the hotel was able to provide some back up light so it wasn’t pitch black. It’s really close to restaurants, only a few minute walk. If you want to go anywhere else on the island you need a car.

    Loved the hotel, peaceful and quiet, sea view room was worth it; able to sleep with windows open hearing the sea. Comfortable beds and pillows, good isolation from other rooms. Big cheers to Despoina at the reception, always kind and helpful with the best tips for the island.

    Location, location, facilities , cleanliness, kitchen, air con, clothes washing machine in two bedroom unit , walk across the road to beach, walk to taverns, shops. Beautiful sunrises straight across from door. Parking on site. Host very friendly and informative.

    The Little House next to the Wave is really... next to the wave of an incredibly beautiful beach! Red sand, quiet and the moon shining....very beautiful feeling!
