The hotel was impressively clean, and my seaview room offered breathtaking scenery that made work feel like a vacation. The food was delicious, especially the seafood. What made this trip stand out, though, was the peaceful ambiance and the incredibly friendly and professional staff. Akron Seascape Resort Hotel is a top choice.     Very quiet, local village in the NW of Corfu island. Getting there is fairly easy, road quality is good, and there are no twisty roads. We mostly ate inside the home, shopping at one of three fairly large grocery stores just about 10 minutes away.

    Strategic point to see north and central Corfu.

    Strategic point to see north and central Corfu. Close to Sidari , when you have lot of shops, restaurants, bars , souvenirs , etc. Also very nice beaches - closest in Sidari and near cape drastis , short way to spectacular Porto Timoni beach. Prices in restaurants are acceptable, cheaper than in Croatia.
