Quaint and picturesque town on the pleasant river Slaney steeped in Irish History. Enniscorthy was the scene of the 1798 rebellion where the united Irishmen took their last stand on the summit of Vinegar hill overlooking the town. The Castle and the 1798 visitors centre are worth a visit if you are interested in history as is the Father Murphy centre at Boolavogue. Nice beaches close by, greyhound racing, and traditional Irish pubs which are good for a sing song! Enjoy!

The town doesn’t really offer much but what is does was good , the paths for wheelchair users are just not accessible. Area would do great with a McDonalds or Burger King for mothers with fussy kids but other then that was an enjoyable stay

Enniscorthy is a pleasant, old town.

Enniscorthy is a pleasant, old town. But there are limited things to do and see there. Vinegar Hill is an interesting historical location and offers a pleasant view of the area, but this takes only an hour or two to experience. The town of Enniscorthy is very quite, probably best described as a locals town.

Enniscorthy is lovely the bullying threatening security staff at hotel are not. Also the park has no grounds to it unlike they suggest there is a council park next to it complete with drunken antisocial yobs.

The town is run down with many delapidated buildings.

The town is run down with many delapidated buildings. Not enough shops and restaurants in the town to even spend a day - overall not a destination. Very steep streets so unpleasant trying to get around with a pram. Early evening gangs of young people congregated in square drinking cans - very unsociable atmosphere all round.

Loved our stay at the apartment. All mod cons, with easy access to the property. Ideally situated near the square within walking distance to 'Enniscorthys' tourist attractions. Our lovely host Jacqueline made us more that welcome. We where down for the annual Enniscorthy Rock 'N' Roll Town Weekender & Food festival. Looking forward to next year's trip. 👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent, clean hotel. Very spacious room, lovely shining en suite and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The food is top class and the location is very, very good. Added bonus is the parking facility. As I was travelling on my own, I felt very safe within the whole complex.

Beautiful rural location while still being close to Enniscorthy. Very relaxing, and must be filled with bird song during spring and summer.
