A great escape to the country just 15 minutes from Galway. Very tastefully decorated new lodge in farmhouse setting. Private and quiet location with friendly, helpful host. Tea & coffee facilities, but needed to bring your own milk. There was a local shop close by to get food supplies for breakfast and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything else we needed.

We spent two days at the hotel, the first night in a superior room, the second in a basic room. Both were everything we'd hoped for: comfortable and in perfect condition. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located on the outskirts of Galway. The area is lively and a great reflection of Ireland.

Really well designed rooms with plenty of storage space for bags. Comfortable bed and super clean bathroom. Loved the facilities onsite, it was great to get some clothes washed at the onsite laundry.

We had a kind of suite with a bedroom and separate TV room. Even the bathroom was extremely spacious and had a window. The shower was just awesome and there was even a bathtub (which we didn't use). The bed was comfy. We had breakfast in the pub one morning which was very good (though the only vegan option is toast with smashed avocado - ask that they serve it without dairy).

The staff were extremely kind and helpful beyond expectations. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Truly nothing negative to say about this hotel. The location was perfect. Close to all the shops, pubs, restaurants and bus stops.

Oh the hotel was lovely. We so enjoyed having the spacious room after a few nights in cramped quarters, it was nice to be able to stretch out. We did not have an opportunity to use the gym or pool sadly but they looked nice.
