This is a hostel, so you have to take into account the nature of this facility. The location as a base for exploring historic Venice is excellent. close to the station and bus stops. The facility is so clean you could eat off the floor. Rooms cleaned daily. nice terrace, air conditioning. The price-quality ratio is perfect. I highly recommend.

The hotel's communication was prompt and efficient, making our after-midnight self-check-in easy. The staff offered great assistance with guidance, directions, and support throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located in a pleasant and calm residential area, a two-minute walk from the bus station connecting Venice and Mestre train station, a short stroll to the supermarket, and within five minutes on foot to the restaurants and cafe of Marghera (and other bus lines). The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the internet was fast.

    Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

    Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

    The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap...

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

    The hotel is old and not very well maintained. The beds were uncomfortable. The location is not convenient, nothing to do within walking distance. Most of the staff were friendly with the exception of a girl who gave us wrong information about how to pay for the bus to Venice station. We almost get a ticket at the station because of the information she provided us, when we told her what happened she gave us attitude.

    We only stayed one night, but the hotel is perfect for a few days if you want to go to Venice. It was clean, we had a parking place, even if we arrived early we left the car at the hotel and went to Venice using the train. Train, bus very close, just a few minutes walking. People at the front desk nice and helpful, thank you!
