    Great place in the mountains with Italian flair. The hiking trails are marvellous, the paths through the vineyards are superb, lots of Castagne and going there by Rhätische Bahn is a pure highlight. Hidden beauties, old places, rich in history.

    Tirano is a nice place to relax, we found one excellent restaurant (Parravicini) and one not so good on the other side of the river. Use recommendations. There is a very long market on a Sunday. Everyone we met were very friendly.

    Tirano is a really nice little town, busy with plenty of visitors, but also with plenty of locals out and about enjoying the restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we had time to explore the old town and wished we had a bit more time to visit more of the restaurants. I would recommend Vineria Carin where there were a number of local wines to sample by the glass with very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

    Nice place for a week and central in the valley. An old town, nice shops, and restaurants. Good bakery with perfect croissants on the main street. Has a train and bus station. Easy-to-use transport system.

    Would advise travelling into Switzerland on the Bernina Express rather than the other way. Tirano seems like a place to move on from to be honest. A single night was OK, but not sure we'd have enjoyed staying much longer...

    We arrived via train and bus from Milan. very long day as flew from Perth WA and arrived at 6 am. Very pleased to find a comfortable bed walking up a steep footpath from the bus station with our luggage was a bit of a challenge. Loved checking out the church before bed.

    The room was comfortable and clean. We had a balcony room, the air conditioning was really good. The bed was comfortable, everything was in working order. The breakfast was nice and all of the staff were really friendly. This was in a cafe also owned by the family who owned all of the different hotels. The location was great for the train station.

    If you are visiting Italy, Tirano is a place that should not be missed. This hotel is located at an excellent location in Tirano, directly opposite the RhB train station. The view from this Hotel is awesome. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious.
