Very nice and comfortable APT in a very quiet area in Black River. With a full kitchen, large bedroom, a very good shower and a big comfy sofa !! We received the entrance pincode the day before our arrival, but got the keys from the friendly lady next doors. Also, the payment was done through her, which was not really communicated by the owner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We travelled by route taxis to YS Falls, Treasure Beach and Appleton distillery. Black River is THE transport hub in this part of the island. And is a lively place to be for a few days. The croc tour we did with a local man Teddy, just for the 2 of us, same price 25USD PP, but longer tour and very personal. WATCH OUT for crocs in the sea in town as we have seen 2 bigger ones enjoying the sea .... NOT a joke !! Ask the locals.

Treasure Beach has a naturally relaxed and peaceful vibe, but what truly made my stay special were the wonderful hosts, Wayne and Judith. From the first communication with Ultimate Freedom Bed and Breakfast (Miss Lydia), I knew I had booked the right place for my parents who needed accommodation for a funeral they had to attend.
