Beautiful setting! The furniture was lovely and the decoration thoughtful. The plants and pool area were beautiful and peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as well - I loved the vegetable curry especially. Not far from galle fort and more. Wish we stayed for more nights.

Our accommodation boasted not only comfortable beds but also a fully equipped kitchen, providing us with the convenience of preparing our own meals if we wished to do so. However, what truly set Villa Rumassala apart was its exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Menaka, in particular, epitomized hospitality with her warm demeanor and attention to detail. Her genuine care for our comfort and satisfaction truly made us feel like royalty. Additionally, we cannot speak highly enough of the Tuktuk driver, Sandaru, whose fair prices and friendly demeanor made exploring the area a breeze. Beautiful colonial building with nice gardens. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Was the perfect choice after a busy 10 days travelling around Sri Lanka. They upgraded me to a better room which was very kind.

It is wonderful stylish villa as expected. Located in the heart of this historic and iconic city, we enjoyed strolling to see the sunrise and sunset and exploring the beautiful shops. The staff were very nice and helpful. Mr. Azwan arranged a car charter. It was actually trustworthy because the driver is smart enough with a beautiful TOYOTA car. If you have any plan to do that, please ask the hotel they arrange you with a best value.

A quiet, cozy place in the middle of wild nature. Great view from the room. Big beautiful outdoor pool. Clean rooms and everything you need is here. We saw monkeys on palm trees, various birds and a palm squirrel. Cats also live here. Visitors, please feed them! Very good staff, the administrator is excellent, helps in any situation. Great hotel! I will definitely come back here!

Nice and cozy place. Hidden in the garden not far from central street. Railway station, frut spot ant tuk-tuk parking are close. The owner and his wife are kind, generous and honest people. And what wonderful breakfasts they serve!!!!! With fruits and local dishes. The owner built this cabins by himself during the coronavirus period, so everything is new and clean. We spent their 3 nights, and can recommend it for longer staying.

The Merchant is perfectly located - basically a five minute walk from any point in Galle Fort. The rooms are lovely, big and modern. The restaurant downstairs is one of the best in Galle, and one of the few places that is still lively past 9 pm. The breakfast was great too.
