This is a wonderful boutique hotel, literally on the most stunning stretch of beach, a long golden stretch of sand and super quiet. All the staff were so hospitable and friendly. The rooms were large, bight and well appointed, the pool is gorgeous and there is lots of space to sit and enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed—comfortable bed, fresh linens, and good air conditioning. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The location was also very convenient. For the price I paid, the value was outstanding. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout my stay. Very friendly and kind hosts. On my arrival, they picked me up from the train station though the room is in walking distance from the station. The room is spacious, new, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Walking distance from the main street with all the bustling city life nevertheless the room is very quite. Only a couple of minutes walking from the beach where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Gaindu proposed many places to visit but unfortunately due to lack of time I didn't. Ambalangoda ended up to be one of the best places I visited in Sri Lanka and Sudu Colonial was one of the best places I stayed. Until my next visit I would highly recommend it.

A fantastic hotel in a great and quiet location. The facilities are new, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a wonderfull room with a kitchenette, perfect for spending several days. A special mention goes to the manager, Methsiri. He helped us with everything and was incredibly attentive. He recommended a nearby restaurant with delicious dishes, and he also arranged a taxi to our next destination. We’ll never forget you, Methsiri! Thank you for everything!

Nice welcome by the manager. The room was neat and beautiful. Great shower too. Had a super Sri Lankan breakfast in the garden. Very tasty. If we are in the area again in the future we will definitely come again. Thank you for the pleasant stay 🙏🏼
