I stayed at Diamond key Ahangama for 3 weeks. I had the most wonderful stay and I wholeheartedly recommend the place to anyone looking for a Villa in Sri Lanka! This villa exceeded my expectations. The villa is perfectly situated in a peaceful area at the end of a quiet road, nestled among local homes. It offers a blend of tranquility and connection to the local community. Every time I returned to the villa, I was greeted by the warm smiles and friendliness of the locals, making me feel genuinely welcome. The location is ideal, being less than 1 km from Kabalana Beach and just 700 meters from the nearest restaurants. For snacks, water, or fresh fruits, the local village shops are only 100 meters away, so really everything you need is close by. The villa itself is impeccable. It features a bedroom, a clean and functional bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove and full set of utensils. The private patio and fenced garden add an extra layer of comfort and privacy, making it feel like your very own oasis. The air conditioning was excellent—so efficient that I didn’t even need to set it to full power to sleep well. The shower had consistent hot water, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. What truly made my experience unforgettable, however, was the warmth and care of the villa’s owner, Mrs. Dedunu, who lives next door. Dedunu went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. She offered daily cleaning if desired and prepared the most delicious breakfasts from fresh, local ingredients. Dedunu's kindness and hospitality are unparalleled—she even did my laundry and cooked a traditional Sri Lankan dinner for me. Her dedication to making guests feel at home is remarkable, and her genuine warmth left a lasting impression on me. If you’re seeking a place that offers modern comforts while giving you an authentic taste of Sri Lanka, Diamond Key Ahangama is the perfect choice.

The best resort in south Sri Lanka!! It was a pleasure to stay in this resort, the facilities are amazing, and brand new. The staff are incredibly polite with very good English speaking. They made the check-in process very nice & smooth and helped recommend places to see and visit on the South Coast. My room was also very comfortable, considering most places I've stayed in Sri Lanka the bed tends to be a little harder, but the rooms in Terra Resort had the comfiest bed & pillows. The location is also a short 5ish min walk to the main beach of Kabalana which makes it really easy to get around. The reception also has tuktuk call services too, that come to pick you up from the resort if you want to get into town or go surfing. I highly recommend this place if it's your first time in Sri Lanka, Or if you looking for an earthy boutique-style place to stay, it made my journey to this country all the sweeter.

It was incredible two weeks at the Tropical Villa! I love this place so much! Me and my husband enjoyed spending our vacation here. Huge thanks to the team who makes this villa such comfortable, cozy and safe place! We had a spacious and clean room on the first floor. It was so cool to wake up and go straight to the pool and then practice yoga in the yard. After that we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast (scramble, sausages, bacon, salad, fresh juice, fruits, bread toasts with butter and jam, coffee). Location is top. Ocean, fish point, different cafes, money exchange point, bus station are super close (2-5 minutes walk). Most of the surf spots and a big grocery store are about 10-15 minutes walk. Staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Don’t hesitate to talk to them and ask if you need something. One day we asked about a safari tour and the next day we got round trip transfer, guide and jeep (exploring the Yala Park).

Really aesthetically pleasing rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful design! The pool area is great. Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty - fruit salad with oats and yoghurt, eggs and toast, Nutella pancakes, fresh fruit juice and tea/coffee. All the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. I really recommend staying here

Amazing view and pool! The rooms were incredible and they offered great food in the restaurant. Such a unique place and stay with a lovely staff. Perfect for relaxing but having close to the busy life around Mirissa and Weligama.
