We got upgraded to a double room with personal shower free of charge. The room and shower/bathroom was relatively clean with some minor exceptions. The hotel has a nice terrasse from where to enjoy a good breakfast, and you are allowed to use their kitchen for cooking. Good wifi. They were open, patient and had great solutions every time. Food was delicious and yes you NEED a guide when you are in Fès if it is your first time. The Medina is huge and complicated to navigate compared to other places in Morocco, but it is such a great experience.
