This is the 5th time we were in Maldive and among all local hotel that we had been through, Belmar beach gives us the best experienced. Below are the reasons: 1. The hotel room & toilet were clean and very functional - I would give a rating of 9 out of 10. 2. We have a beach front room and was very convenient to the beach with beautiful view and lots of privacy, the beach was clean and not even dry leaves, (everymorning there will be cleaner cleaning up all the dry leaves) - 9 out of 10. 3. The in house reef was also another plus point, without the need to travel any place further and we get to enjoy our snorkeling - 8 out of 10. 4. Everyday , we enjoyed our lunch and dinner there because the hotel has a very good chef. We are not easy to be please with food but for this chef , we give a thumbs up - 10 out of 10. 5. Activities - we went for lobster hunt and we had 2 lobster plus 1 fish catch for our dinner. we went for sunset fishing trip and we caught 19 fishes in 2 hours. They knows exactly which is the spot to catch the fish, so Sunset fishing is a must go activities, likewise for Lobster hunting. and we have 4 fishes for our beach front dinner , which was a surprise arrangement by the hotel staff - 9 out of 10. 6. The island is very well located , as most activities are not too far away from the island and that make it convenient without having to take hours just to reach the activity location - 9 out of 10.

The rooms were clean and tidied up every day, which was great. The breakfast buffet was really tasty with different options to choose from in addition the coffee and tea were available all day. Overall, a fantastic place to stay. The Staff was very kind and helpful.

This guesthouse meets every need a guest could wish for, making it the perfect place to relax. The sandy beaches as well as the center of Mathiveri (market, fantastic bakery etc.) are just a short walk from Velana Vibes. The place is new, clean and well cared for. The design is thoughtful - functional, but also ensuring privacy for guests. But what makes Velana Vibes truly special... are the people. Munzir, the owner, is the soul of the place and Imma, the manager, is its heart. We have never met such a sincere and genuinely warm team. That includes the friendly owner, the incredibly dedicated manager and the always-helpful kitchen staff. They all put their whole hearts into making our stay special and unforgettable - and they succeeded! They were always there if we had questions. They organized everything - whether it was a golf cart tour of the island, snorkeling, fishing, fish barbecues or filming us on jet ski with a drone - and made our holidays even more enjoyable. Personally, I would like to give special thanks to Imma for the private snorkeling lesson :-) I can’t swim, but he offered to help me so that I also could see the underwater world - and he kept his promise. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, he took me and my family to a calm beach where we snorkeled together. I will never forget the experience of my very first snorkel, where I felt completely safe the whole time! At Velana Vibes, we enjoyed the comfort of a good hotel, but among the team, we felt at home - surrounded by people who genuinely wanted the best for us. Everyone made sure our stay in this wonderful place was unique and unforgettable. Although we usually don’t return to the same place twice, we truly hope to come back to Velana Vibes someday. THANK YOU for your hospitality, incredible dedication, warm atmosphere and the unforgettable time we shared with you! Because even though we visited Mathiveri during the rainy season - with you the sun was always shining! :)

I have been looking for cheap, simple but comfortable accommodation and I definitely found it! Ever Blue Guest House has only 4 rooms with share livingroom and also terrace dinning and kitchen which I could use. Room: comfortable bed (I like hard mattress), small fridge, TV, AC, fan, hairdryer, spacious bathroom with toilet, towels, beach towel, drying rack, daily water. What else do you wish for? Room was daily cleaned which I didn’t need. Breakfast: They always asked me what time I would like to have a breakfast and what would I like to have (I am not breakfast person plus have GF diet). I end up just with eggs and fruit but have been offered pancakes, sausages etc. Kitchen and dining area: I could use the kitchen and make my own food, coffee, tea. The great addition are also ceiling fans in dining area (they are actually everywhere) as when it’s really hot and humid this helps massively. I have to say huge thank you to the owner for helping me when weather was extremely bad and public boat was cancelled. He managed to find a private boat to take me to my next island. It was lovely to talk to him every evening and learn about his family, life on the island and much more.

I came on a solo trip to the Maldives and stayed 4 days in Bougan Villea retreat. I felt so welcome and taken care of throughout. The inn is new so everything is clean and in great condition. The local beach is currently under reclamation but the bikini beach is just a 3 minute walk away. The beach there is beautiful with a truly amazing house reef. I snorkelled there about 8 times in the 4 days and I saw pufferfish, squid/calamari, sharks, and even caught glimpse of a manta coming to the reef. A special thanks to Anwar from the resort, who personally brought me snorkelling to show me the good spots. He also brought me to see the night feeding of nurse sharks, and took me on a motorcycle ride around the island on my last night. As a guests, I was able to borrow snorkel equipment for free, as well as the stand up paddleboard. The highlight of my trip was paying to go out to swim with the Manta Rays, an experience I will never forget. They were huge and majestic, and it was just magical. Although the island is not big, I’m thankful for the 4 days at this lovely place.

We liked the location and the friendly staff who worked really hard to make our holiday very special The food was fabulous, excursions from the hotel and the watersports equipment and kayaks were great . **Review for Aqua Heaven Inn, Maldives** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aqua Heaven Inn, and it truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. They met me at the ferry station and ensured a smooth transfer to the hotel, and they even arranged a speedboat for both my arrival and departure from the airport. It was all very convenient and stress-free. I had a half-board booking, which included both breakfast and dinner. Personally, I found the food to be fantastic and just the right amount. The meals were always fresh, flavorful, and reflective of the local Maldivian cuisine. The atmosphere during meals was intimate and relaxed, often with views of the beautiful surroundings. The room itself was very comfortable. The A/C worked perfectly, keeping the room cool after a long day under the sun. The furniture and amenities were all brand new, which made my stay even more enjoyable. It was clear that the hotel prioritizes comfort and quality. Aqua Heaven Inn also offers a variety of day trips, and I highly recommend trying them out. The underwater world in this part of the Maldives is absolutely stunning, and exploring the nearby reefs was one of the highlights of my trip. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to help organize the best excursions. Overall, I was incredibly happy with everything Aqua Heaven Inn had to offer. It’s a beautiful, well-run guest house with excellent service, amazing food, and unforgettable experiences. I wouldn’t hesitate to return! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable Maldivian getaway.

    The view, the food, the activities and just the feeling of being in a resort in Maldives. Gangehi hit each aspect perfectly. The staff were friendly - always with a smile and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be coming back to Gangehi for our next trip to Maldives.

    Gangehi Island resort was a dream resort - this is one of the best places to visit in Maldives. Myself and my wife had requested vegetarian meal - the breakfast and dinner had so many options that we were eating 3 plates every day. The rooms were amazing. The shower idea that has you hearing the ocean while shower just brought that extra special feeling. To be able to open your balcony door, go out and straight into the Indian ocean. Amazing friendly staff - always wishing you well.

    Manager Georgio was very pleasant and accommodating the island is superb with a nice stretch of sand bar to walk along the villas on the water were very convenient as you could just walk down into the water the entertainment was nice (Karaoke night, fashion night and bingo/tombola night) the aquatic scenery was beautiful including black tip sharks, and hundreds of colorful fish

    Staff were good, nice view, i like the activity there, you can request a jet ski and other sea activities but a little expensive, you can go to another local island but its more expensive 40$++ each person and its not worth it tbh because it is quite no activities and only three shops. Spa lady was so good, and also the reception were so helpful.

    Staff was great. This hotel is truly niche and it allows you to enjoy an intimate stay while benefitting from an eco sustainable resort. The over water villas, especially the deluxe, are magical. Food and hospitality staff is top quality with so many options. Phenomenal cleaning
