FAQs about hotels in Bangkok

Something for Everyone in Bangkok

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.

Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.

To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?

From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.

Bankgkok used to be Capital City of tourism in south east Asia . But something is not right anymore . People are treating you commercially . If you are new , they will over charged you . I think Vietnam is more warmer and sincere !

We stayed 3 days in Bangkok before flying on to Phuket and wish we had stayed longer! So much to see and do and the general vibe was so friendly and upbeat. The street food was exceptional and the temples/palaces/markets were brilliant. Bangkok was originally just a needed stop over but turned out to one of the best stops on the holiday. We will be back 😊

Amazing city- it has something for everyone, and every day. I would consider moving here. Some fun activities I did- I went to a shooting range, an escape room, and pub crawl. I ate a fantastic orange curry of Ratchaburi crab and Thai Tea became my favorite during my visit.

Amazing city, amazing shopping, nightlife, so so many things to do and see. I've been coming to Thaliand for many years now and love everything about the beautiful country, Bangkok is the best city I've been to in the world, the food, which can be found everywhere is some of the best you will find in the world, the shopping malls are some of the biggest and best in the world. It is starting to get more expensive and not as many bargins to be found, but they can still be found, just head to some of the less touristy areas and your find all sort wonders within the Thai culture.

Traveling to Bangkok with family was an unforgettable experience! The city beautifully blends culture, adventure, and modern comforts. We loved exploring the majestic temples, cruising along the Chao Phraya River, and enjoying the vibrant street markets. Family-friendly attractions like Safari World and Dream World kept the kids thrilled, while the local cuisine was a treat for all ages. Bangkok’s hospitality, easy transportation, and variety of activities made our family trip smooth, fun, and truly memorable. Highly recommended for a family getaway!

The price of the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was near the skytrain so was easy to get around. There were places to eat nearby and a food market. We also enjoyed the Jazz Bar about 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Also, about 40 minutes from the airport for transfers. We left our luggage at the hotel for 2 weeks whilst we went travelling and collected on our return to the hotel, this was a great convenience for us. We would stay here again if visiting Bangkok.

it’s very basic but it’s what you get for the price and totally enough. I arrived super late due to delays and it was early morning when i’ve arrived and didn’t need my night anymore. they let me change my stay to that day so I had a hotel room for the day until I had to leave for airport at night. super flexible and a great gesture which made my day in bangkok more enjoyable instead of dragging around my bags.

Came early but they let me check in, I had an issue with my room but thanks to Eva the front office manager for her kindness and fast response, and offered me a premium room experience (upgrade), recommended the hotel to stay at the middle of bangkok attractions, a way from noisy streets, and meters to Phloen Chit BRS station.

Often stay here when in Bangkok. Good basic accommodation with great staff and comfortable beds. You get a full apartment for a similar price to a basic room in some other nearby hotels.
