Fun area to explore need to rent a scooter or car to see more the national park is beautiful, and a lot of nice beaches.Only downside in Kenting is night market opens around 6:00 pm and almost nothing going on during the day, so don’t expect lunch or an afternoon cocktail. Night market is loud with boom boxes at a lot of drink stands competing for business, but food is good and friendly people. Fair Warning: Kenting requires bike or scooter/car for the common traveler/backpacker. Some people I met thought the area was underwhelming and boring. However, the scenery along the roads is gorgeous, and YouBikes are available. Scooters more convenient for most on hot days (it will get very hot in summer). Due to health reasons, we arrived to Kenting later than we had planned. It is definitely worth spending a couple of days there. The landscapes are so beautiful and the people and the vibe are so friendly and relaxed. If you are planning to enjoy the beach, I would recommend doing a small research beforehand, as not all beaches are accessible and swimmable due to the national park protection or because some beach areas are reserved for hotel guests.Guest review byLeireGermany - 10

Kenting was quite busy at night with the night market along the main street. There was a good atmosphere and lots to see and do. We visited the lighthouse one day using the local bus. We had another day on the beach. We ate at a local family restaurant in the evening which was frequented by locals. They served vegetarian food and local fish.( I did a Google review of the restaurant the name is in Chinese )Guest review byAnonymous

Quiet area, but still just couple of minutes walk to Kenting Street where you will find night market, restaurants, shops etc. Also close to the beach. Parking on the property is very convenient. We were very happy that we chose this place over some of the other ones by the main street. Our room was comfortable, just as in the photos on Booking. The hotel complex is HUGE, owever, when asked for rides in and out of the hotel, to save the energy of our 4-year old, the hotel complied. We could also borrow a stroller without additional cost which helped us greatly. The pool is amazing and made our kids be very hapy. It is also very close to the beach which was greta for morning and evening dips.
