    Erie is my hometown and return each summer.

    Erie is my hometown and return each summer. The Peninsula is nice, Waldameer amusement and water park is great for families, fishing and boating are popular, lots of shopping on Upper Peach Street. The zoo is very nice, plenty of golf courses, The Warner Theater rivals anything that I've been to in NYC, several independent restaurants and bars. Sometimes traffic is slow, several homes in the heart of town are well over 100 years old, sidewalks not maintained. Lake Erie sunsets on the beach can't be beat. In general, it's a nice summer destination.

    Make sure to check which beaches in presque isle are open for swimming and if any of the attractions (like waldameer) are closed. We had lovely weather and spent lots of time on the beaches, cycling and swimming at splash lagoon. Sara's for lunch and dessert is a must!

    Visited Presque Isle and a museum.

    Visited Presque Isle and a museum. Had dinner at Golden Corral, and the food was excellent. Getting around Erie was a nightmare--WAY too many one-way streets. Totally unnecessary. My ultimate destination was inaccessible because of multiple closed streets for a festival.

    I love erie I used to live there and miss it.

    I love erie I used to live there and miss it. It's a great place to go fishing. There are beaches and waldermer park. There are plenty of things to do. If you go to erie check out to see when erie days is they have alot of different food when they hold this event and lots of music it's in downtown erie so there are streets blocked during this time. They also have rib fest. They have the Millcreek mall where they have tons of stores to shop from lots of places to eat

    If you want to relax, the paved trails along the bay in Presque Isle State Park are for you. If you want a beach, there are miles of beaches - some with concession stands, changing areas, life guards, some without. Sarah's at the entrance to the park has ice cream, foot long hot dogs, chicken tenders, burgers, drinks, etc. A little chaotic when busy, but it flows surprisingly well. You can rent bikes, boats, etc. Plenty of shopping opportunities in plazas close to park and, of course, the town of Erie.

    Erie is a nice city to visit.

    Erie is a nice city to visit. There are many activities and alot of sightseeing opportunities. Visiting the Erie Zoo is always a nice activity. it is a smaller zoo so it takes about an hour or an hour and a half to tour. The people at the zoo are very helpful and answer questions promptly. there is fishing, nice beaches and alot of local novelty things to see.

    Eight very happy senior ladies were thrilled with our little mini vacation thanks to you and your hospitality. Breakfast was excellent for being included in the room price. Considering the room was shared by four , we found it comfortable . Best of all was the friendliness of the front desk staff. They accommodated our card playing request by giving us a class room for privacy. Will definitely stay here if we should choose Erie for another holiday. \

    Enjoyed breakfast a lot, staff was friendly and seemed to really care, they gave us a little gift bag upon check in which was a nice gesture, and they had coffee available by the front desk to make any time. I also LOVED that they had a ledge in the room by the window to put bags and such on, so nothing needed to go on the floor. I wish every hotel had that! Overall a very nice stay!
