Vegas is great for cheap flights and cheap rental cars.

Vegas is great for cheap flights and cheap rental cars. You are only a few hours drive from some of the most beautiful scenery in the world: Grand Canyon, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon in UT. Boulder Dam. Best of all 75 & 80 MPH speed limits on Interstate 15 north of Vegas. Vegas has big, wide, modern freeway system that is easy to navigate for novices. There is plenty of space so no traffic jams. Also the city streets are very wide and driving is a breeze. Evidently. C o LV doesn't like to waste money on pavement striping so its hard to know which lane you are in. To add to the fun watch out for the many homeless people staggering around in dark rags in the roadway. Speed limits on arterial streets are surprisingly high, 55 MPH. I'm not complaining, but be careful, don't text and drive, its worse than drunk driving. I didn't go to any casinos. Not a gambler. But the City is unique and its fun to drive around just to look at all the bright lights. Vegas is a bargain destination where you can compress a lot of fun into a long weekend. We had surplus camping gear from our trip to Zion which we donated to a shelter on Bonanza St. Highly recommended to see the underside of Sin City. Lots of homeless people, but harmless and still human beings. Be thankful you have the resources to travel, and save on the airline baggage fees by donating your surplus clothes and food to the needy. Our airport shuttle bus driver from the rental lot back to the terminal was probably an amateur standup comedian. He kept up a witty repartee at 7.00 AM, and we learned a little about this unique city. The airport was also modern and efficient, even the TSA were polite. Which kind of sums up the whole place. Two thumbs up. Our family of four had an epic bucket list experience for less than $1K, inclusive of flights, car, food, lodging, camping over four nights. That's only $65/p/n. That is a bargain folks. Will definitely repeat.

Las Vegas has come a long way - the last time I was here (we are from there originally) it was depressing but the town has turned around. It isn’t cheap and tacky anymore - plenty of tacky - don’t get me wrong - but there is also a lot of class and the higher prices seem to keep the standards high.

I know Vegas is known for it's flash and glamorous, however it's getting boring because everyone does the same thing with a "small" twist. It reminds me of a third world country and not in a good way.

Not worth it unless absolutely necessary.

Not worth it unless absolutely necessary. Pricing is ridiculous, too many peoples, and they don't care it you're there or not. The Omelet House is a great place for breakfast, and it's not close to the strip

Being a Marriott Rewards member let's me choose Marriott wherever I go. I feel extremely at home staying at a Marriott Hotel, especially when travelling alone that requires security. This facility is placed in front of the Convention Center, at a short distance from the train that take you to the main area of the Strip in Las Vegas. The associates are very pleasant and helpful to solve your requirements, always welcoming you with their best professional attitudes.

Hotel is not directly located on the strip, meaning it is quieter. It is though near the Wetstgate monorail station with easy access to the hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas boulevard. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Large parking garage available right next to the hotel. Snacks and refreshments are available to buy at the first floor.

Great location, an amazing pool area. There is so much to do in the hotel itself if you prefer not to leave, but it is right on the strip so it is close by to everything in Las Vegas.
