The staff is phenomenal. Had a drink at the bar and asked about an off menu drink, she whipped it up for me. I was appreciative. The room is comfortable, clean, spacious. I would only recommend having usb charging ports in the room. Most hotels have that now, and we didn't pack them thinking the room would have one.

The hotel was ideally situated, so near to the I90 heading west out of San Antonio - I was in Texas to see the eclipse and needed to explore the area for a good spot. It was easy to get to and to get away from, wherever I was going. The room was large, the facilities were fine, plenty of hot water, clean as a pin thanks to excellent housekeeping. Lovely to have breakfast included, ample provision each day - and the swimming pool made for a great place to relax in the warm sunshine - a real bonus for a Brit accustomed to chilly Octobers! The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful, from the moment I arrived as a weary traveller to the time of my reluctant departure - very accommodating with every request I made.
