FAQs about hotels in Miami Beach

Millionaires' Playground

A Millionaire's playground, Miami Beach is all about sun, sea and sand. Popular as a spring break destination, its miles of pristine sands shelve gently into the turquoise Atlantic Ocean.

Lining the beach are tall palm trees and the promenade, famous for the beautiful people that go rollerblading by. Add to this a warm, subtropical climate and you can see why many celebrities have chosen to set up home in Miami Beach.

You might even spot some of them shopping in the designer boutiques along Lincoln Road. And if your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, there’s still a great range of shops with more moderate prices, including Aventura Mall and CocoWalk.

The city also has its fair share of culture, including the Art Deco District, which houses the world’s largest collection of Art Deco architecture, including some of the brightly-lit Miami Beach hotels on Ocean Drive.

Comprising a series of islands just across Biscayne Bay from Miami (the route you take from Miami Airport), this city has a heavy Latin American influence, which is evident in the cuisine and fantastic nightlife. Whether you choose the Miami Beach accommodation in the North Beach, Mid Beach or South Beach areas, a Cuba Libre - rum and coke - is never far away.

Beach was not much crowded in the morning. and that's the best time to visit and the temperature was also not too hot until 10 AM. so if you are looking to walk there, the best time is early in the morning

The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Miami’s best attractions, nightlife, and beaches, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. Waking up to the sunrise over the bay is an unforgettable experience, and evenings on the balcony watching the water are pure magic. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a family trip, or a fun getaway with friends, Vista Mar checks all the boxes. Highly recommend to anyone wanting the perfect blend of relaxation, style, and easy access to all that Miami has to offer. I can’t wait to come back!

My group was there mid September, the weather was good, low to mid 80s so not horribly hot. I loved the window shopping on Washington Ave and the Lincoln Road outdoor Mall. Spis restaurant was a great find for for bargain eats, cruising Ocean Drive at night watching the young folks going to bars and just hanging out on the Beach too.

It was good we rented a jeep instead of the mustang convertible. Which was recommended by the car rental place due to lots of rain before we arrived and flooding. The weather ended up really nice and we still were able to ride with the top down. I learned to uber to and from the rental car building from the airport because its a long walk! Uber/Lyft was less expensive than a cab. It's also a 2.5 mile walk if you are going to Uber to the Dolphins game. Getting in wasn't bad but leaving was horrible. Got great ticket prices on stub hub an hour before the game. Pay for parking and pay attention to how close the lot is.

    It's a perfect beach holiday

It's a perfect beach holiday Not all that geared up for kids Lots of events going on but more for adults Millions of places to eat, everywhere we chose to eat was lovely, I doubt you would find a bad place. We did the open top tour and boat trip, both good but make sure you know the difference between booking the hop on hop off or continuous tour

A beautiful Art Deco Hotel, well maintained and operated by super friendly staff. This place is small but it has everything for your ultimate Miami experience. A wonderful roof top pool area and also a nice restaurant directly on the pulsing Ocean Drive. You are in the middle of South Beach with tons of bars and restaurants... And not to forget: Directly on the ocean to enjoy beach life!

Very good - What previous guests thought, 338 reviews
The Hotel is on the ideal location. Beach facing and on the South Beach's main party strip. Every hotel here has a party/bar/club or live music scene. You could go and sit anywhere or just keep walking on it and it is a fantastic atmosphere. The beach itself is pristine white sand with green water, not at all crowded

I had an ocean front room with great views and liked that the property is right on the beach. It's not far to walk for a morning swim / beach walk. This is definitely a quiet hotel, best suited for families and/or older couples.

Miami Beach hotels have become ridiculously expensive for what they offer. This one is located in nice area away from the silliness and craziness of South Beach and easily accessible by shuttle bus to central MB.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location. Slightly away from South Beach main strip, 2 min from the beach and 1 min to from the Miami beach experience
