We have been here before!! Always EXCITING!

We have been here before!! Always EXCITING! This visit was basically for the MUSIC venues and bar scene! So many NEW places on Broadway and each STAR presents their own atmosphere!! I must add that while parking was readily available...it was OUTRAGEOUS!! It is METROPARK?? IDs your license plate entering and leaving/...which was GOOD but last night we did a METRO at a downtown steak house...Maybe CUT ABOVE??? When we signed up at parking it said we would owe $60 and we IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED AND LEFT w/o getting out of our car and we were STILL CHARGED!! BE CAREFUL!! We are still fighting for a refund!!

Has to be Grand Ole Opry for a must do in Nashville.

Has to be Grand Ole Opry for a must do in Nashville. Lived up to expectations! Down town music area very much as ecpected. Nashville was much more affluent than we were expecting. Radnor Lake State Park was a totally unexpected oasis of wildlife. Great place for a nature walk, saw deer, lots of birds and turtles.

We stayed in the Gulch area which is very urban-like.

We stayed in the Gulch area which is very urban-like. Very quaint, very clean, not too much traffic. Everything very walkable which is what we wanted. Italian dinner at Luogo was wonderful, great food, great service, highly recommend. Ventured to Broadway, went to Justin Timberlake's 1230 Social Club, very cool vibe there. Listened to local music folks, reasonably priced tapas and drinks, a much calmer atmosphere than most of the honky tonk places.

In the past 4-5 years the popularity has grown exponentially in this town. It's sooo crowded now, so many people here for 21st birthdays, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, etc. I'd say there's probably at least a 65/35 ratio of women to men here visiting. Gone are the days of tipping an artist or band 2 or 3 bucks to make a request -- it's a minimum of $20 to get your song considered an more if you want to be sure and have it move higher up in the setlist! BUT if you love live music (more classic rock than country now here) this is the place to be. Most places charge $9 for a beer, 11 for hard seltzer, 14-18 for mixed drinks. BUT there's never a cover charge and never a shortage of entertainment. You won't be disappointed.

A wonderful town with lots to do and a TON of things to do if you've got a car (or want to book a trip on a tour bus). Highly recommended even if you don't want to go "honky-tonking" or drink. Such a great experience in TN, NC, and KY.

Nashville is definitely not for families.

Nashville is definitely not for families. Super disappointed in the party scene with drunks all around us and not just on boardway. Thought this would be more southern charm town instead of a drunk bachelorette party.

We chose due to proximity to downtown Nashville for reasonable price. Hotel no longer has shuttle bus, but can use uber (or apparently there is a public bus but we didn't use it). Its a massive hotel. It has a buffet breakfast (13.99 adults, 8.99 children) 0700 - 1030. There were some vegan options, but not many at breakfast. Microwave in the corridor was a nice touch. Sink outside bathroom was good. Gift shop in hotel sold snacks and souvenirs. Didn't need to do the pre-arrival online. Bedroom a good size.

The whole experience exceeded all expectations. We loved this hotel. All rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. The location was a 20 minute walk to Downtown / Broadway, but it was a lovely walk that was always enjoyed. There are many lovely restaurants all within a few minutes walk of the hotel. When we return to Nashville we will stay here again!
