Virginia Beach is a great place to relax on the beach. I visited early September; it is easy getting around. Captain George Seafood Restaurant on 1956 Laskin Rd is an all you can eat snow crab leg buffet is a place I recommend you go to dine. Didn’t wanna go on the beach when it was cold so the next day we went on the beach because the sun came out then it got so windy that everything was flying so we went in disappointed. The beach was clean and they were constantly cleaning it. A few sketchy people hanging out but overall fealy safe. If you like fishing, lots of opportunities from shore and boatsl Explore restaurants away from the beach,go to Big Sams which is a local "dive bar" with good food, prices and staff. We liked Ocean Beach in Maryland better but we might come back and stay at a different place. The people we met here especially at the inlet fishing were great. I wanted to stay on the beach the entire vacation and that’s what I did. Water was peaceful and everyone was courteous. Sunnyside cafe & restaurant was my favorite breakfast spot.
