We loved staying in Curry village, enjoyed the joyous atmosphere and the amazingly beautiful surroundings. I woke up early in the morning to enjoy the silence and the fresh morning weather, and I was delighted to find out that I could get an early morning coffee at Peete's coffee shop right in Curry Village. We stayed in an unheated tent and had brought our own sleeping bags and blankets, which was good, as it became rather cool in the night.

The location makes all the expense and travel well worth it. Stunningly beautiful. Majestic. The Awhanee is in the perfect location for adventurous day hikes on so many beautiful nearby trails.

We wish we had stayed here 4 nights instead of 2. Incredible for families with great game room, pool area, play area and restaurant. We loved the s’mores nights. Also, our tent was so comfortable!
