The hotel is a really amazing place to stay if you need some relaxing time. It’s located in a peaceful and quiet area. We stayed here for 2 nights and it has been great! The room is clean and cozy. If you don’t have anything planned to do in town, hanging out in the hotel would be a good idea! Cause they have a nice pool and the best Bac Xiu I’ve ever had. The breakfast is also surprisingly good. Really recommend to try the local food they prepare! They change the menu everyday so we tried 2 different kind of noodles in 2 mornings(which both are amazing!!). Another recommendation is fried banana cake. The staffs are very friendly especially the staff Cuong. Thank you for arranging everything for us! They even offer me an ice bag for my injured leg haha. Thank you!!

Location is great, in between the different touristic places. You can rent motorbike. Dzung were very helpful and make us have a perfect stay. (they speak fluent English). Everybody is everybody is really nice.

We loved the peaceful countryside location and the overall design and layout. Staff really helpful with advice and bookings as needed. Scooter hire is really useful for day trips of which there are plenty in close proximity to the property.

For me a 10 plus!! Arrived early and they gave me a sort of breakfast and could enter early in my room!! Tony, the owner is the best!! Great and friendly staff, every time you come back im the hotel they offer you a cold drink!! It was so hot when i was there!!The place is amazing, sort of honeymoon resort ;-) Great breakfast, nice pool, great view from there and a big, clean and comfortable room, very quiet (Tam Coc downtown can be very noisy)I LOVED MY STAY OVER THERE!! Thank you "Tony"!!!

The hostess was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for us, made us feel welcome from the very first to the very last minute of our stay (and technically even longer!). For example. One of us got food poisoning and when she learned of this she made a bowl of plain rice for us, just so we could eat something without any risk. Another thing is that even after we had checked out, we could leave our luggage and even rented a scooter. When we came back at night she offered us to use her own shower, just because it would make us feel nice. Last, but not least, the breakfasts she makes are so good!! It’s so lovely to start your day like that.

I had an excellent experience at Tam Coc Lighthouse Hotel! The staff were truly amazing — incredibly kind, genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms are new, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the fresh fruit was especially delightful. The location is great: just a short walk or bike ride from the river, restaurants, and boat tours, but still quiet and peaceful at night. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a local stay with heart.

AMAZING!!! Wish we had stayed longer than two nights. Location was perfect but it was the staff and owners that really made this accomodation 10/10. They were all incredibly friendly and made us feel apart of the family .

Everything, from the time we arrived, our host Linda was great. She welcomed us with ice tea (perfect for the hot weather). Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. We could hire bikes and do our laundry for very affordable $$. Linda have us gives tips on where to eat and what to see in Ninh Binh and Tam Coc. We have been travelling for a month, Thailand and Laos, and this place has been our favourite by far.

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a...

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a day or two longer. It's a very laid back area and there is lots to see. We stayed between Trang An and Tam Coc and used bicycles to get around. The quieter location suited us but for younger travellers Tam Coc is more vibrant. The walk to the top of Hang Mua viewpoint is best done in the early morning (we went before breakfast) so it isn't too crowded and not too hot. There were mountain goats roaming around when we walked up (around 7.00am) but they'd gone by the time we descended and more people were arriving. We didn't take the boat ride in Tam Coc but we took a boat ride in Trang An. The scenery seems more mountainous around Trang An than Tam Coc. On the day we went the water was high so we couldn't go into the caves and there was only one route open, which seemed to be a mix of the other routes. The boat trip lasted around 2.5 hours and was excellent. We also visited the old town at night, which was nice. It's all lit up and there are some good places to eat on the waterfront. Bich Dong temple is also worth visiting. There is a staircase leading up to a smaller shrine and to the left of that there is a passage through a bat cave and up to another small shrine outdoors.

    The view is stunning.

    The view is stunning. I was shocked of how beautiful and cleaned this city is. You can enjoy cycling around the city under the quiet, historic and cultural atmosphere. At the famous landmarks, there was no scam or shoving, hustling, jostling. The goat meat in Ninh Binh is so delicious

    Overall, the experience was very good.

    Overall, the experience was very good. Trang An and Mua Cave were absolutely must-visit places—stunning and unforgettable. If there’s one small note, I found that prices around Tam Coc were a little higher compared to Trang An, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the trip.

    My visit to Ninh Binh was only to visit Cuc Phuong National...

    My visit to Ninh Binh was only to visit Cuc Phuong National Park and I caught the end of the butterfly migration which was an exceptional, never to be forgotten experience. The nearest ATM to Wyndham Grand is only a 5 minute drive away but it is advisiable to bring cash to pay taxi drivers, shops and the National Park entrance fee. Taxis are easy to arrange and fairly reasonably priced. It is common to agree a price for a round trip and often the driver will wait for you, sometimes for several hours.

    Hoa Lu, the ancient capital is a great place to visit, pls book the tour guide who can help you to understand the place, pls spend time for walking around, even climd up the mountain to see the whole landscape. We did have a great time and we enjoyed it a lot. Thung Nham is another place worth visiting, especially at 5pm when all the birds are flying back home, it is fantastic view to see and enjoy Night market with long walk along the river is another great experiences. The food, the people and the landscape of Ninh Binh: wonderful!

    Great homestay in Tam Coc (approximately 7km to Ninh Binh). The family running the homestay is really a very lovely family and we felt home and welcome the moment we arrived. The breakfast is typical Vietnamese, i.e. some fruits, rice, pancakes, white bread, juice, etc. Our bungalow was comfortable and clean and the pool and pool area is great and a perfect place for relaxing. We had three wonderful days in Tam Coc, Trang An and Ninh Binh. Therefore, we would definitely stay at Tam Coc Village Bungalow, again.

    A hotel located in the center, a few steps from Tam Coc wharf. I was surprised because the street was crowded and bustling with hotels and restaurants close together. But our room is very well soundproofed, every detail is beautifully and reasonably furnished with all the necessary amenities exuding luxury, the breakfast is full of nutrients, the food chosen by the homeowner is green and green. fresh , scooters available for rent and same day laundry service . I would recommend to anyone coming to Ninh Binh.

    The location of this hotel was fantastic. The hotel offers free bicycles, which helped us to get around town and visit cafes and nearby restaurants. The location is very scenic, and the hotel helped to arrange transportation to beautiful areas of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. Also, the hotel has a great rooftop to enjoy a beverage after a day of exploring and watch the beautiful sunset.

    the facility is super close to the Main Street of Ninh Binh / Tam Coc so that everything is near by. the rooms were clean and the owner is just an absolute sweetheart. he was so lovely and helped us out in so many things. also, we have had the best breakfast so far during our 2 weeks in Vietnam - the pancakes were just soooo good!
