The Staff is very friendly and helped us in every Situation. We had to stay two days longer due to the weather and is was made possible without any hesitation.

The cottage is so adorable!! We were there in small group of 3 people and it was really good we had space and the cottage is not small :)! We appreciate terase, grill, river and the space - we really felt amazing around nature, river and siting on terase it have so good feeling we are sad we didnt stay some days more but definitly i save this cottage for next time :)! The property is very spacious and has everything you need. The owner is very friendly and responsive. Perfect location for those who want to explore Hengifoss or Stuðlagil Canyon. The complimentary coffee was by far the best coffee we had in Iceland!

The room was a bit cold in the evening, but got warm over night. One window leaked a bit of air, dropping cool air down on the bed, so I stuffed a pillow up in the window, for more isolation. In the morning I felt i needed more AIR, so I just removed the pillow. =D There were extra blankets, to keep me warm. The shower was good, warm water came fast. The place had a fridge, which is always a plus, and especially here, as you have to make your own breakfast.

AMAZING PLACE! The Cabin is comfy and pretty beautiful. Maybe our best experience in Iceland. The concept of the Farm is totally inspiring. They cultivate their own vegetables and cook a big bufet everyday with everything they harvest. The personal is amazing and they make you feel at home. And besides they open the kitchen at 11 you can order some breakfast before, with their own granola and jams. Thank you! we will definitely come back! u.u

The property is amazing. The owners clearly care a lot about the place and their guests! The amount of small little details that we loved is too many to mention individually, but everything looked like it was done with intention, from the kitchenware to the bathroom supplies to even the coat hangers. The fireplace was an absolutely amazing little add-on, which one doesn’t often get, and which made it even cozier and homey-er. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked great, the beds were comfortable and warm. The place in itself is easy to find with the descriptions, and close enough to the next town to quickly get some essentials if needed, while also far enough away to feel cosy and calm. We had a brief chat with one of the owners when we arrived, who was super nice and told us a little bit about the house and the area in general. Thanks for an amazing stay!
